As a Fitness & Wellbeing Manager at our Fitness & Wellbeing Club, you've previously worked as a personal or fitness trainer. To provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment at first point of contact from a triage list and act as an autonomous clinician, with the support and guidance from the GPs and Prescribing Paramedic. It would be desirable to have the skills to assess children as well as adults. Proactively identify, diagnose and manage treatment plans for patients at risk of developing a long-term condition (as appropriate). Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, integrating both drug and non-drug-based treatment methods into a management plan. To accurately triage and prioritise patients, including in emergency situations, demonstrating the use of a variety of techniques to elicit the history of an event/illness, including past medical and drug history. As required, to provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment for those patients who need to be seen in their place of residence. To evaluate clinical information from examination and history taking and initiate appropriate treatment and / or referral, including admission to hospital if required. To signpost appropriately to other services in the identified healthcare pathway and to refer patients to appropriate care settings, within locally agreed healthcare pathways. To maintain accurate and systematic documentation of patient interactions and clinical care provided, including adverse events. To advise and support members of the public on healthy lifestyles, health promotion and disease prevention. Ability to support GP administrative workload (pathology results and Docman) with suitable training and support Communication To liaise and interact with multi-professional teams across organisational boundaries, including primary care, social services and secondary care providers according to patient needs and appropriate care pathways. To maintain communication with all healthcare professionals and outside agencies to ensure seamless, patient-centred service provision. To ensure effective communication so that the patient receives the appropriate level of care and wherever possible avoid unnecessary hospital admission. To take an active role in maintaining expert communication with all patients, carers and relatives which meets their individual needs. To help organise and facilitate co-design workshops with community groups and individuals with lived experience of psychosis from Bangladeshi, Black African, and Black Caribbean backgrounds. Screening and recruitment of patients diagnosed with psychosis and patients at ultra high risk pf psychosis. This will involve speaking to referrers regularly, attending clinical team meetings, visiting community mental health teams, hospital wards, as well as home based treatment teams. There will be monthly recruitment targets for all studies. The post-holder will be joining a team of research assistants to help meet these targets. Completing eligibility screening assessments and seeking informed consent from patients. Carrying out the assessments for the trials. The trial patients will be assessed on a range of measures at a number of time points for each study. You will need to arrange these interviews and administer clinical interviews, assessment tasks, and self-report questionnaires. Participants will be seen in clinic settings or at home across a large geographical area. Patients are seen in multiple NHS trusts including: Oxford Health, Northamptonshire Healthcare, Berkshire Healthcare, and Central Northwest London (Milton Keynes). Assessments will be carried out blind (i.e. you should not know which condition thepatients have been randomised to). You will need to remind staff and patients not to tell you the allocation. And you will need to report if you have become unblinded. It will be crucial to maintain very high follow-up rates for the trial participants, meaning you will need excellent engagement skills. Good record-keeping will be needed, including updating medical records with trial progress and managing recruitment databases. Follow standard operational procedures for the trial and NHS Trust policy regarding safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children. What skills and experience we're looking for

• Experience of an administration role in an office environment: an understanding of the key principles involved in delivery of effective administration support

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
