About the Role

The Fleet Services team are looking for a qualified and experienced HGV Mechanic to work in the Shannon Workshop at Eastcroft Depot. The Shannon Workshop provides a repair and maintenance service for both the Councils internal fleet and a number of external customers, which includes a diverse range of HGVs, light vehicles and road-going plant.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver an extensive programme of vehicle maintenance, repair, inspection and examination. They will work to ensure compliance with statutory legislation, the legal requirements of the Councils Operators Licence, DVSA requirements and internal Council policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will also be able to work on their own initiative and to strict deadlines; at all times ensuring that a high quality standard of work is delivered.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Heavy Motor Vehicle Engineering, or equivalent

Job Summary: The Clinical Effectiveness Officer will support the implementation of the Clinical Effectiveness agenda, including clinical audit, NICE guidance, participation in external best practice initiatives (such as NCEPOD and MBRRACE-UK), and the development of clinical guidelines. ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Recruitment/Resourcing Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our recruitment activities across our multiple
locations. From supporting the resourcing team with important recruitment and on boarding administration to maintaining external
supplier relationships, your efforts will help us attract the best talent while ensuring compliance and efficiency throughout the
recruitment process.

What you will be doing:

* New Supplier Setup: Complete supplier checks and set up via the New Supplier process on DocuWare, ensuring all necessary
documentation is in place.
* Recruitment Campaign Support: Coordinate recruitment events and activities, including job fairs, campus visits, and local
community outreach to build a strong candidate pipeline.
* Recruitment KPI Management: Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time to hire, cost to recruit v's cost savings
and fulfilment rates providing insights to help us optimise our hiring process.
* Supplier T&C Management: Collect and track terms and conditions from long-standing recruitment suppliers, aligning fees,
payment terms and rebates creating a comprehensive T&C matrix.
* ATS Management: Monitor job advertisements, maintain "live" job listings, assign candidate skills, and report on advertising
costs to ensure effective ad placements.
* Recruitment Audits: Support and conduct regular audits on temporary labour suppliers to ensure compliance and maintain high
standards.

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to create reports, track metrics, and prepare presentations.

will be given

We’re recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic at Nottingham Workshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn over £50,000 per annum including overtime.

Working Hours: Full time
- 39.5 hours per week (rotating shift pattern; week 1: 06:00
- 14:30, week 2: 09:30
- 18:00). You will be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (with a weekday day off)

A bit about the role

With a Fleet of over 49,000 vehicles, including traditional fuel and electric vehicles, LCVs and HGVs, maintaining our vehicles is a true team effort.
