Role Purpose To provide leadership and support for doctors in your allocated Bupa Health Centre, (or on-site clinic or within remote services), working collaboratively with other members of the management team to ensure provision of high standards of clinical practice and customer service. Act as a key advisory and support point to staff within the centre (or remotely), and other LPs ensure clinical guidance is provided to all colleagues as and when required. Lead on the delivery of mock scenarios and emergency clinical procedures within the centre (or remotely if applicable). The post holder will work with minimal supervision to undertake a variety of clinical tasks to support the delivery of therapy to patients. Main Responsibilities

As our Mobile Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for undertaking plant maintenance, repairs and improvements to ensure maximum reliability of all plant associated areas and to assist team members in aspects of plant operation.

Your responsibilities as the Mobile Maintenance Fitter will include (not exhaustive):

• Respond to plant breakdowns, when necessary and be responsible for the correct and efficient repair of equipment keeping downtime to a minimum with timely and safe adherence to the maintenance plan whilst complying to all relevant statutory legislation and the internal company Safety, Health and Environmental standards
• PAT Testing portable appliances in addition to demonstrating competences in Fault Diagnosis
• Ensure that Mobile Silos are supplied to customers in a safe and fit for purpose working condition
• Continue to improve plant performance whilst maintaining safety, maintenance and asset reliability
• Contribute to the in-house development of the Computer Maintenance Management System
• Ensure that Van Stock Levels are Maintained
• In support of the maintenance and operations functions, you will utilise documents, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated guidelines for the safe and efficient maintenance of equipment

Consequently, this post is ideal for those who are committed to a career in Trauma & Orthopaedics, and are looking for ST6-8 level experience. With experience inall specialties in Trauma and Orthopaedics, it would suit a candidate looking for this experience specifically for their training requirements. You would be offered similar training opportunities to the specialty trainees, including access to regional teaching and participation in local audit and research opportunities.

The unit admits large numbers of elective and emergency patients per day and thus will offer you a wealth of experience and training in all aspects of Trauma & Orthopaedics, particularly general Orthopaedic trauma, upper limb and paediatric orthopaedics. You will work closely with our senior clinical teams and benefit from their experience and knowledge allowing you to expand your own clinical experience every day, with opportunities to bolster your portfolio for the next round of the national selection process.



In general, the appointed individuals will be expected to work in fracture and elective clinics, trauma and elective operating lists and care for patients on the ward (working effectively with junior members of the team such as Core and Foundation trainees, alongside other HCPs, such as Specialist Nurse Practitioners).

Whilst this post is not recognised for training nor Deanery approved, an Educational Supervisor will be allocated to the fellow.

The Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital, NNUH, is seeking one substantive 10PA consultant in paediatric respiratory medicine. The successful appointee will help shape the developments of this well-established unit and support the East of England CF network and regional respiratory services. Thepost comprises of 10PA of which 1.5 SPA and 8.5PAs of clinical work.The clinical work will include specialized cystic fibrosis and respiratory work.

We encourage applicants who have completed their national sub-speciality grid/ equivalent training (special interest) in paediatric respiratory medicine.

The successful applicant will work with colleagues in paediatric respiratory medicine, paediatric medicine, surgery, and neonatology to provide respiratory support to inpatients and outpatients in the Jenny Lind Children Hospital. They will collaborate with colleagues at CUH to develop closer clinical, research and training links, as lead centres within the regional Paediatric Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis services. NNUH is a recognised specialist centre for Cystic Fibrosis.

The Acute paediatrics and paediatric medicine on-call are delivered by a team of consultants working across children’s emergency department, children’s assessment unit and inpatient wards.



It is anticipated that with regional development the post will evolve and subject to job planning agreement, developments could include incorporating dedicated research PAs, alongside the potential to be the lead role for Respiratory or Cystic Fibrosis at NNUH and educational supervision responsibilities.
