Job Description:
We are currently seeking an organised, motivated Admin Officer to support the admin team based in Preston. The role will include preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings; creating and updating records, including collecting information; data input, communicating with the Judiciary and other court staff and handling face to face, telephone and email enquiries from court users. Training will be provided on internal systems. Excellent communication and IT skills are required for this post.

Requirements:

• Able to follow well established processes and detailed instructions.
• Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team in Preston and South Ribble. • Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role.

• Continuing Healthcare (CHC) MDT: Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to assess eligibility for Continuing Healthcare funding and ensure the appropriate care plans are in place.
• Discharge to Assess (D2A) Reviews: Conducting D2A reviews, assessing individuals' care needs at home or in care settings to ensure they receive appropriate ongoing support.
• Collaboration: Working with health professionals, carers, and families to ensure a coordinated approach to care that supports the individual's well-being and independence.

Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who:

• Social work qualification and registered with Social Work England.
• Enhanced DBS.
• Have experience working with adults, particularly in hospital discharge, triage, or Continuing Healthcare (CHC) processes.
• Are flexible and able to balance office-based work with community visits.

Hays education have been approached by a primary school in Fleetwood who are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a KS1 SEN child. This role is an immediate start and has the potential to be extended through until the end of the academic year. This is an Ofsted rated 'Good' school, and they encourage every child to discover their talents and grow in confidence. Experience working with SEN children is not essential, the school are open to someone with the right approach and interest in the role.
Your new role
In your new role you will need to support a year 1 girl with ASD who is non-verbal. You will be responsible for providing 1:1 support for this child. You will need to work closely with the class teacher around differentiation of work and work closely with the child using a communication book. It is important that you liaise with the parents and SLT regarding pupil progress, so you should be able to build relationships quickly and easily. You will need to ensure the child is fully supported and progressing with their learning. If you feel you can commit to this role 5 days a week until the end of the academic year, please get in touch.

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children and previous experience supporting SEN children is not essential.
