We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator and the location is at 3 Pioneer Sector, Singapore.
About the position
As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for:
• On time handling of transportation requests, including but not limited to customer and tool shipments, returns - both domestic and international shipments (when required)
• Outbound transportation bookings for plants as specified
• Customs clearance for international outbound shipments
• Approval of transportation related invoices
• Handling of disputes transportation invoices
• Admin tasks as required such as documentation and reports required
• Communication with stakeholders such as logistics providers, internal stakeholders and customs
• Other duties as requested by the line manager
• Serving the customers in an optimal way, providing best services available
• Urgent order handling, 24/7 (on-call duty)
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
• 'O' Level or Diploma
• Minimum 3 years of experience within Logistics, Warehousing or Supply chain management
• Good knowledge in Incoterms and Transportation methods
• Good skills in Export documentation and customs procedure, dangerous goods handling will be added benefit
• Good skills in Transportation insurance claim handling
• Basic knowledge about warehousing processes
• Good knowledge in computer software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Good knowledge in SAP
• Basic technical knowledge of Wärtsilä product portfolio
• Good communication, cooperations and teamwork skills in a multicultural and international work environment
• Good problem-solving skills
• Well organized
