Duties and responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to the following:

• Daily responsibilities include collecting, compiling, and tracking data and statistical information in support of Veteran Transportation Service (VTS).
• Perform a basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports.
• Collate in-coming data from a variety of sources. Reviews documents, reports and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies and ensures data entry is complete and accurate.
• Enter pertinent information into an automated tracking system.
• Receive DSS extracts to verify that the workload being captured in DSS is correct.
• Maintain automated system of program- specific data to track items such as service project milestones, progress reports, clinic trends, program trends, performance measures, compliance strategies, etc.
• Interact with various other transportation services such as Emergency Medical Service (EMS), Volunteer Transportation Network (VTN), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) etc., and other transportation providers.

• Plan consult processing flow to ensure veterans receive consultation services in a timely manner.
• Utilize the Veterans Health Information System & Technological Architecture (VISTA), Computerized Patient Record Systems (CPRS) or SharePoint Consult/Request Tracking System in processing internal consultations.
• Provide procedural support in administering quality monitors to be utilized in the internal consultation process to measure the success of efforts to provide seamless care and to support the education of staff in the proper use of the electronic record, to include internal consultation processes.

• As a traffic/information controller, works on a shift in the 24-hour/7-days-a-week operation of the Air Terminal Operations Center's (ATOC) information control function.
• Plans and coordinates activities involving the processing of cargo and passenger records originating and transiting through the Aerial Port.
• Performs ramp coordinator duties, and closely monitors sequence of events (SOE) and all aerial port ground handling operations, maintaining constant communication with the ATOC.

• Personal property program administration. Coordinates and ensures proper implementation of peacetime and contingency traffic management programs, policies, procedures, transportation management systems and techniques incident to the preparation and movement of personal property.
• Interviews and assists Department of Defense (DoD) personnel in planning and organizing passenger and personal property moves with the Traffic Management Office.
• Passenger movement program administration. Reviews travel orders and determines entitlements for active duty military, reserve component members, DoD civilians, and dependents for worldwide travel to include remote and isolated sites.
• Administers personal property inspection program. Observes, documents, and evaluates carrier and contractor performance.
• Serves as Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) providing quality control monitoring services to ensure that the Commercial Ticket Office contractor is in compliance with contract terms.

• Serves as leader of transportation assistants engaged in personal property and passenger travel functions.
• Reconciles a Central Billing Account.
• Resolves complaints from employees; refers group grievances and unresolved complaints to supervisor.
• Provides advice and information to service personnel, DOD civilian personnel and family members regarding weight authorizations, unaccompanied baggage allowances, shipping POV, mobile homes, weapons and special items requiring insurance coverage.

Major Duties to include but not limited to the following:

• Determines eligibility for the program, and processing reimbursement
• Maintains communications with receiving facilities regarding beneficiaries return travel arrangements
• Reconciles vouchers against authorizations for accuracy prior to preparing certification for payments
• Prepares daily expenditure reports
