Job Description

• Assist in preparing resources for teaching & learning activities (e.g. lesson, enrichment, competition, exhibition, recycling campaign, garden trail, etc)

• Set up science laboratory / makerspace before activity and clear up after activity

• Organise the storage of learning materials (e.g. apparatus, equipment, printed resources, perishables, etc)

• Ensure learning materials are well-maintained and well-stocked (includes simple cleaning, drying, stock-taking, etc)

• Assist in purchasing learning materials

• Maintain cleanliness of two science rooms and one makerspace room

• Assist in any other teaching & learning related duties as assigned by Teacher-in-charge, Level Head or Head of Department

Job Requirement

• Able to properly handle primary science laboratory apparatus

• Basic proficiency in spoken and written English

• Organised and attentive to details

• Able to multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines

• Able to communicate with teachers through WhatsApp

• Prior working experience in science laboratories and/or primary school environment

• Relevant working experience in science education

• GCE “O” Level science subjects

• Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
