This is a truly exciting time to join our team as we work towards launching our newly developed £10m Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) that will deliver first-class diagnostic care to our community.
The new centre will have the ability to deliver joined up diagnostic care, and with increased capacity this will ensure our patients will have faster access to treatment, earlier diagnosis, and improved outcomes.

We are looking for experienced CT Radiographers to come and work in our forward-thinking department. Our normal practice would be to develop staff internally however an exciting opportunity has arisen for external candidates to apply.
To conduct a wide range of CT scans upon a range of patient types, both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi-professional team, in a manner that meets professional, departmental and legal standards and requirements.
Participate in the out of hours on call rota. Radiographers practice will involve lone working in particular specialties and at particular times.
Patient presentation will include the unconscious, uncooperative, incapacitated, incompetent, disorientated and those with physical and mental disabilities. A wide variety of patients will be encountered and will include those exhibiting anti-social behaviour including both un-convicted and legally convicted e.g. prisoners.
Other influencing factors include the skills needed to provide patients or relatives with empathy and emotional support for the bereaved, terminally ill, injured, traumatised or those altered by substance use/abuse.
