This position serves as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist for expendable (EX) assets/material in a VA Health Care System (VA HCS) and supported catchment area. Supervises multiple supply series of consumable medical supply/inventory used in the healthcare system as well as the micro-purchase program. Inventory Driver Operator duties and responsibilities:
Split 75% of the role will be warehouse operator and 25% driving work
As an Inventory Driver Operator, you will be expected to carry out a range of varied tasks and functions, drive company vehicles as and when required to collect and/or deliver goods/stock to ensure customer requirements, performance targets and quality standards are met and when possible, exceeded.
* Dealing with receipts, put away and replenishment of Silve Stock lenses and Raw Material as requested by the Team Leader.
* Maintain clear communication with Team leaders and Senior Operators regarding change of delivery, route, or schedule or any obstructions to making safe, efficient deliveries on time.
* Receive incoming lenses and Raw Materials from internal and external sources verifying all items are correct. Identifying, putting away products ensuring all goods are located and stored in the correct locations according to procedure and available for picking.
* Pick and issue materials for the user businesses to the agreed quality standards, verifying all items are correct, complete, and present. Distribute materials to the user businesses in line with daily stock replenishment plans.
