Responsible for managing and coordinating the invoicing and administrative staff functions to provide a comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative and clerical service (A&C).
Liaising and working closely with the Procurement Manager and other team members to ensure queries are dealt in a timely manner and all administrative duties are kept up to date.
Expected to work autonomously, using own initiative and able to work unsupervised when undertaking specific work identified. Must be able to plan and manage a range of duties, organise own work to meet deadlines and respond professionally to enquiries both internal and external to the organisation.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with staff, service users and responding to enquiries via telephone or email.
• Provide effective problem solving, potentially working with the Trust finance team.
• Attend procurement huddles / departmental meetings and contribute to building effective teamwork in exchanging views and ideas and communicating effectively.
• Communicate work procedures, motivating departmental staff to achieve objectives.
• Plan, prioritise and schedule own and other staff workload on a daily basis to meet the needs of the service and achieve set timescales.
• Support creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as and when agreed with the Pharmacy Procurement Manager.
• Work collaboratively as part of an integrated team.
• Provide appropriate assistance to Pharmacy Procurement Manager or other team members.
• Work within and keep up to date with National and Trust legislation, guidelines, policies, procedures, protocols and code of conduct relating to own role.

1. Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of a comprehensive administrative support service.
2. Responsible for the supervision of Band 2 and Admin Apprentice Support staff.
