Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an HR Technology Director located in Midland, Michigan or Houston, Texas!
About You and This Role
In this role, you will define and deliver the HR digital strategy, supporting a model that drives Dow's Employee Experience. You will identify, prioritize, and recommend strategic investments in technology improvements aligned to corporate IT strategy. You will define technology performance metrics and key performance indicators based on leading practices and the desired employee experience and be accountable for the performance and results of the HR IT discipline, guided by the overall HR and IT strategies. You will manage relationships to generate and initiate value-add capabilities and delivery with HR processes and technology to achieve desired results. You will drive automation and digitalization of HR processes with key stakeholders from HR and our internal clients, ensuring that HR can deliver efficiently and effectively to move our HR data and analytics strategy forward.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global HR technology team to uplift HR services using contemporary digital solutions
- Understand business needs, collect client feedback and support improvement in processes through the effective utilization of HR technology to drive business goals and best-in-class employee experience
- Provide input into the functional strategy, own and drive the short and long-term HR digital strategy with strong emphasis on direct access adoption, automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure HR technology delivery to enable best-in-class execution
- Define, manage, and own the HR technology support model including end user support and relevant HR Technology administration
- Manage relationships between HR and relevant internal and external partners, including the global CIO organization, Diamond Systems Solutions and key suppliers, to ensure alignment and improve the effectiveness of HR technology decision making
- Own and lead the investment strategy, plan and process for HR technology collaboration with business and functional partners as well as DSS Business Process Directors and overall DSS Leadership Team
- Accountable for business case development, effectively articulating projects in terms of their overall benefits, costs, strategic alignment and risk
- Collaborate with IT Systems Architects to ensure systems architecture supports and align with the business process and opportunities defined within the investment plan
- Work proactively with the business to understand the future HR process and technology needs and produce ways of capturing and analyzing this information to provide relevant input to business
- Set HR systems integration strategies to support M&A transactions
Qualifications

- Experience in HR or leading an HR Tech organization.
- Experience with Service Now, Workday, Journeys or similar Tech
