SUMMARY OF ROLE:
We currently have an opportunity for an Academy Pre 16 Education Officer at our fantastic training ground. The Academy Pre 16 Education Officer is responsible for coordinating the delivery and tracking of education for players and their parents from U9 – U16 and the Hybrid Training Model and to provide classroom support and cover for players on the PDP FTTM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Management of the Academy Education U9 – U18 tracking systems
• Creation, dissemination and follow ups of data tracking requests to U9 – U16 schools
• Management of Academy Education & Player Care registers
• Creation of U9 – U16 MDT reports based on school and Academy data in line with the MDT schedules
• Attendance and input to the MDT review meetings
• Attendance and input to the MDT operations meetings
• Dissemination of introductory and transition letters and data sharing agreements to schools.
• Dissemination of regular U9 – U16 reports to school in line with the Academy annual schedule
• Coordination and delivery of the Academy Hybrid Training Model (HTM) compensatory education provision
• Creation and management of the Home School Club Agreements for the HTM
• Creation, input to and management of ILPs and reports
• Classroom support as needed for players on the PDP full time model, primarily the BTEC Level 3.
• Input to the coordination and delivery of the Academy Holistic Development Programme for the U9 – U16 Players and Parents (Lifeskills)
• Engagement with the Premier League Enrichment Programme
• Attend U9 – U16 trips and tours as needed to provide compensatory education and feedback to schools
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERINCE:
• 2+ years experience in a teaching and learning role
• 2+ years experience in a previous administration role
• Familiarity with excel, Office 365 and docusign
• A form of teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, HLTA)
• FA DBS check
• FA Safeguarding Children
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERINCE:
• Previous experiences working in an academic intervention setting
• Previous experience working with and support families
• Previous experience working in an education setting
• Previous experience working in a professional sports academy
