Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter to join our team in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating Amada and Trumpf press brakes, ensuring the production of high-quality metal components according to engineering specifications and tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Amada and Trumpf press brakes to bend, form, and shape metal components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine setup and operational requirements.
Adjust machine parameters to achieve precise specifications and tolerances.
Conduct quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet production standards.
Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machines and report any mechanical issues.
Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and production quality.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Amada and Trumpf press brake machines.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Familiarity with metal fabrication processes is advantageous.
