Your primary responsibility will be for the day-to-day administrative and operational support for the PG/UG education team in the delivery of teaching programmes for Trainees, Students, Nursing Learners, Allied Health Professionals and preceptorships. Developing and maintaining accurate records and monitoring attendances at all teaching and educational events.

To provide front of house support on medical induction days and be a point of contact for all Trainees and Students. Undertake all general administrative duties as required. Manage telephone and face to face enquiries on a daily basis.

The Education Administrator will provide a high quality of administrative support as a member of Christie Education Multi-Professional Education team. • Lead on processing financial transactions, including raising purchase order requisitions, invoicing external organisations, and managing personal payments, ensuring all actions are compliant with the Trust’s Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs).
• Achieve sponsorship income targets, acting as the primary liaison for sponsors, managing contracts and financial records, and ensuring sponsors receive appropriate support and engagement at events.



PLANNING AND REPORTING
• Work with the team to plan short and long term deliverables, regularly monitoring and adjusting plans as required
• Support the team to determine overall project durations, when activities and events are planned including their dependencies taking into account requirements and availability of resources
• Develop and manage work plans with clear objectives and outcomes as identified by the team
• Support the team in the reporting of project status metrics to facilitate the identification of project priorities and reporting progress to relevant boards
• Assist in the tracking of progress against these outcome measures

Manchester Thrive in Education is a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) developed as part of the national project to increase access to psychological support in education settings for children & young people. We were established in 2020 and work closely with partner agencies as part of the getting help offer for child mental health.

The team work within education settings, including colleges to improve the whole setting approach to mental health & emotional wellbeing. We deliver CBT informed interventions for mild to moderate mental health difficulties individually and in groups.
