As a Supervisory Supply Management Officer, GS-2003-11, you will:

Plan, direct and organize the housing assignment, billeting, and logistical operations of a GTC to include such functions as inventory and storage management, quality assurance, maintenance, procurement and property utilization and disposal. Items managed fall into such categories as subsistence, medical supplies, petroleum, and common use supplies. Assemble and review budget estimates for the DOL. Determine funding requirements and direct the preparation of budget justifications. Allocate resources at his/her disposal. Review, analyze and interpret supply directives and procedural instructions and plan operating procedures to render the best possible support to the training centers and supported elements. Direct activities concerned with salvage and protection of supply items.

Exercise direct supervisory and personnel management responsibilities. Provide supervisory responsibility for subordinate acquisition workforce personnel. Advise and provide counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
