Duties:

Duties as per Collective Agreement, Article 22. Specific duties such as: develop course outline; prepare and deliver scholarly lectures; create/administer any assignments, tests and final exam etc. within timelines noted by Chair, and in line with usual University and departmental practice; schedule and maintain student contact time/hours; be responsible for grading of student assignments; in coordination with Chair manage disciplinary, academic integrity for the course which may include grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential job functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Organize and maintain lab as instructed by faculty;
• Assist students with lab activities during open lab hours;
• Provide direction and instruction to students related to safety in the lab, including handling of hazardous materials as needed.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The specific duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide oversight of and instruction to students regarding lab activities during open lab hours;
• Provide program support by assisting faculty and students in the classroom, laboratory, or at other campus locations events;
• Provide program information and materials to students at the direction of department faculty and staff;
• Observe and require students regarding proper safety procedures pertaining to the specific subject area;
• Collaborate with professors in the organization and maintenance of labs, as assigned; Collect data and produce reports, as assigned;
• Notify appropriate employee(s) regarding the need for lab materials and supplies; Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds.  It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary.  IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College. 

Depending on the Instructional Area, employees may also have the following physical requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds;
• Ability to safely lift, hold, and carry up to 50 pounds of supplies and/or equipment needed for student training;
• Manual dexterity and balance required for demonstrating automotive maintenance and repair applications;
• Demonstration of appropriate welding skills as required by curriculum and standards; Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time, walk, bend, lift, reach with hands and arms, and stoop;
• Ability to maintain and/or troubleshoot all lab equipment in the automotive maintenance and repair lab;
• Ability to bend down and get on knees while performing different automotive maintenance and repair techniques;

En quoi consiste ce rôle:

• Supervise l’équipe d’immobilisations et projets et s’occupe de la formation des nouveaux employés;

• Responsable de la politique des immobilisations et de l’application de celle-ci en ce qui a trait aux règles de capitalisation, dispositions, amortissements ainsi qu’au suivi des règles d’approbation;

• Élabore les budgets annuels pour la capitalisation et le calcul de la charge d’amortissement;

• Supporte les divers gestionnaires de projets et ingénieurs dans l’établissement et le suivi de leurs budgets;

• Analyse les éléments de capitalisation des projets d’investissement majeur;

• Met en application les nouvelles normes comptables IFRS.

• Développe des rapports pour l’analyse des projets opex et capex pour les divers départements ainsi que pour la Haute Direction selon les besoins;

• Révise les conciliations des auxiliaires avec le grand livre, calcule les crédits d’impôt à l’investissement;

• Prépare l’information liée aux immobilisations pour les besoins fiscaux;

• Responsable des conversions des immobilisations pour les nouvelles acquisitions / intégrations;

• Participe à d’autres projets connexes.

Ce qu'il te faut pour joindre notre équipe :

• Baccalauréat en comptabilité;

• Titre de CPA;

• Niveau de connaissance élevé de SAP, particulièrement des modules de gestion des immobilisations et projets;

• Très bonne connaissance des logiciels informatiques, dont Excel Avancé;

• La connaissance d’Oracle est un atout.

• Bilinguisme, français et anglais, parlé et écrit;

• 5-10 ans d’expérience pertinente, particulièrement dans la comptabilisation des immobilisations et projets.
