Summary 

The Accountant III, Complex Accounting role will analyze complex accounting transactions and positions in order to provide accurate and timely accounting guidance across the organization and to leadership. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform and review ASC 606 revenue recognition analysis.
• Review ASC 842 Lease Accounting analysis, prolease schedules, and associated accounting entries.
• Reconcile US GAAP reporting with IFRS standards.

OES Equipment, a part of the DPR family of companies, is seeking a Regional Accounting Lead for the Central region and will need to be located Austin TX. As the Central Regional Accounting Lead, they will be responsible for providing financial and administrative services in an effective and efficient manner to ensure timely and accurate payments and reporting for job costing and general ledger.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

Accounts Payable Tasks

• Reconciling vendor statements.
• Monitoring that vendor invoices are processed timely at the branch level.
• Verify that checks are being cut timely by the AP department.
• Support local branches as needed when they are coding vendor invoices.
• Guarantee that net term requirements are met and that discount terms are met when such terms are made available by vendors.

Accounts Receivable Tasks

• Managing customer aging report.
• Managing customer rejection list.
• New customer setup.
• Collect resale certifications and customer tax exemption forms.
• Verify customer credit references.
• Initiate and manage lien process as required.

Other General Tasks

• Review prime contracts during customer setup and identify contract language related to rentals and sales, including fair market value rules.
• Manage local and national service contracts (fencing, portable toilets, dumpsters, trailers, temp labor).
• Review and approve corporate purchasing card transactions and receipts.
• Review employee timesheets.
• Misc. Administrative tasks.

 Required Skills:

• Experience with Coupa, RentalMan software preferred.

Details About This Specific Position:

The Summer Associate, Finance & Accounting intern will be responsible for assisting a business finance team with various tasks, such as reporting, analysis, month-end close process, and monthly financial projections. The intern will need to create an analysis and present their work/findings to team leaders while also providing ad hoc analyses based on the needs of the team. Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance Required.

• 3+ Years’ Experience in Accounting.
• MS Office Suit Expertise required.
• CPA Preferred.

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager plays a crucial role within the team, leading the daily activities of the Accounting Department. This involves ensuring streamlined accounting procedures, supervising the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, managing prompt month-end closure, and creating financial statements that adhere to both generally accepted accounting practices and Credit Union policies. The role also encompasses fostering and enhancing a team that delivers exceptional performance.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinates the reconciliation, documentation, archival, and required research of general ledger accounts.

• Prepares the monthly review and reporting of budget to actual, MoM, and YoY variances. 

• Performs and guides others with department research and troubleshooting.

• Develops plans and conducts training for the department and individual team members.

• Contributes to coordinating internal audits, annual opinion audit, and regulatory exams.

• Continuously reviews departmental processes and systems to identify and implement improvements, including automation. Works closely with project teams and vendor partners as needed to implement enhancements.

• Attends educational workshops and training to stay knowledgeable on accounting, industry, and system updates.

• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.

• Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts.

• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards. 

• Coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
