Propsero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker who can support children in an SEN school in Birmingham.

The school is for children aged 3-11 years with a wide range of learning difficulties needs from Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) to Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). In addition to learning needs some pupils have sensory needs including visual impairments, hearing impairments and multi-sensory impairments; some pupils also have complex medical needs.

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream school in Northfield. The school accommodates for a single form entry. We are looking for someone who is committed to work 5 days a week-long term until the end of the academic year.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

· Support children with academic needs

· Working with a group of 3 - 4 children with special educational needs

· Adapt teaching methods to meet specific needs of each child

· Support children with social and emotional needs

· Creating a safe environment for children to learn and thrive

· Providing feedback to teachers and parents regarding children's progress and behavior

What we are looking for:

· Someone who is experienced working with ADHD and autistic children

· Someone who is nurturing and patient

· Level 2 or 3 diploma or equivalent qualification
