To become a Learning Skills Development Officer TAV in our Progressions department, we need someone who is welcoming, supportive and organised.
The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities.

This position is centred cross campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to Redditch and Worcester as well as surrounding areas as required.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:To find a more detailed list of your day-to-day responsibilities, please refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on our Job Description. In summary, as someone who has a relevant understanding of the needs of Progressions, entry level and level one learner cohorts who require additionally engaging approaches to learning, you will support in many aspects. To name a few:Developing Schemes of Work to support learning and assessment activities to support our high quality Progressions and L1 provision whilst also ensuring timely and successful completion of all work delivered;
Delivering high quality learning and assessment activities which meet the needs and interests of Progressions and L1 learners and support their learning and development towards progress into Further Education, apprenticeships and / or employment with training;
Act as lead tutor to a group of learners, including the monitoring of their course targets and arranging appropriate welfare and learning support.
