Main Duties:
Line manage the administration team (4) to ensure administrative tasks are completed as instructed, to deadline and to a high standard.

Assist in the development and maintenance of specific administrative processes / systems, for example effective record keeping and filing systems.

The role:
We have an exciting new vacancy for a conscientious and reliable Compliance and Facilities Assistant to join our team. As a Compliance and Facilities Assistant, your duties will include working with the Estates, Grounds, and Transport teams in all areas of the school and to assist in delivering a seamless facilities operation and ensuring that the school is compliant. Full training is available; however, experience would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be trustworthy, hardworking and have a great attention to detail.
These hours will be based at our Senior school site and Prep School site. Both sites are situated in Bath.

To work closely with the SENCo/SEMH Lead to support a whole school approach to SEMH as well as supporting other school leaders to undertake a range of activities to support the students with special educational needs, PSP, SEMH
To head a team of teaching assistants leading on an area of need as stated in the SEND Code of Practice e.g. Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, Sensory and Physical or Social, Emotional and Mental Health

Shift times rotate alternative weeks,
Week 1 – 7.00 am – 3.00 pm, Week 2 - 11am - 7.00 pm (with a half hour unpaid lunch each day)
The shift ends 30 minutes earlier on a Friday
We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, self-motivated, flexible person to work within our Premises Team, providing effective and efficient site services including, security, repairs and general maintenance and cleaning.Applicants do not need to have previous experience as training will be given, but you will need to be able to communicate in a friendly and effective manner and give positive support to staff and visitors. Good team work is essential as well as the ability to work alone using your own initiative.Candidates will need to demonstrate the following:
• Experience relevant to the role
• Ability to build excellent working relationships, working in a fast-moving environment, with conflicting priorities
• Ability to liaise effectively with staff, visitors, students and site contractors
• Experience and skills in repairs and DIY tasks and a good awareness of cleaning requirements would be an advantage but not essential• Organised and thorough with an ability to work with minimal supervision
• A full driving licence
Note – Week 2 shift will start later and end later on occasions – for example when there is a letting or event at school.

Main Purpose of Job:To assist the Subject Leader for English, and English teachers in the development and implementation of a programme of work to support targeted pupils to achieve their full learning potential and target grades in English.To work closely with the Subject Leader for English to undertake a range of activities to support targeted students.There is a Special Needs input to support pupils. The purpose of the role is to further develop the support and provision for students at Preston School. This role will involve working with both individual students and small groups outside of their normal lessons, to enhance their ability to access learning and improve their interactions both in and out of the classroom. This work will also help to improve their personal well-being and self-esteem.
