As a school-based Youth, Attendance and Welfare Officer, you will have the opportunity to work 1:1 with students who need additional support, helping them to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. You'll be working in a school environment, providing a safe and supportive space for students to explore their thoughts and feelings and develop their skills. In this role you could: support and mentor young people including carers and people at risk of offending, run projects that focus on issues like health, bullying, crime or drugs, organise activities for young people, work with social workers, teachers, probation officers and the police. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about working with young people and has experience in youth work or a related field. You should be a good listener, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds

Salary Grade: G6 (SCP 20-24) £25,119 - £27,803
Working hours: 37 hours (31 on site, 6 study), full year, part time may be considered
