We are seeking to appoint a learning supervisor whose main responsibility is to manage classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that pre-prepared activities are undertaken by pupils. This is a pivotal role and the person appointed will work closely with teaching staff to ensure excellent learning for all pupils.
Are you interested in training to become a teacher? If so, this role will provide you with the experience required to apply to take up a place in our Trust initial teacher training programme and has been a route into teaching for previous cover supervisors in post.

Based at Abbeywood First School & Church Hill Middle School but working across Central Region Schools Trust sites in Redditch

We require a highly motivated and proactive Site Operative to work across our school sites within Redditch.
You will be responsible for the improvement, maintenance and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds. You will ensure the school sites are fully compliant and fit for each working day, ensuring that the best possible environments are provided for pupils and staff. Other duties will include security of the sites, minor maintenance work including painting and cleaning, and liaison with contractors.
You may be required to support other schools within the Central Region Schools Trust where appropriate. You will need to be flexible during busy periods and be able to work split shifts as and when required.

Pathways Support Worker TA3 – 37 hours per week

Job purpose:
• Be a productive part of the pathways team in working with individual young people outside of the school setting who are experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties and are hard to reach.
• This will be achieved through implementing and leading the delivery of targeted programmes.
• To plan activities and build positive relationships with the young people whilst improving the academic outcomes for young people with Social Emotional Health problems.

This is a Fixed Term maternity cover role.

Provide support and liaise with students with a high need and parents to ensure the review process captures relevant feedback
To lead in negotiations regarding appropriate funding bands and identified support needs required from the local authority.
To promote at all times the employment, further education or independence outcomes for students at the college with a SEN, and to support high expectations.
To ensure that information required for statutory assessments is completed to a high standard and forwarded to the Local Authority (s) as required.

Site Operative
Based at Abbeywood First School & Church Hill Middle School but working across Central Region Schools Trust sites in Redditch
Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week, full year
Salary: LGS Scale 2, SCP 3-4 (£22,737 to £23,114)
Start date: ASAP
Closing date for Applications: 9.00am on Monday 2nd September 2024
We require a highly motivated and proactive Site Operative to work across our schools within Redditch reporting to the Senior Site Operative.
You will be responsible for the improvement, maintenance and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds. You will ensure the school sites are fully compliant and fit for each working day, ensuring that the best possible environments are provided for pupils and staff. Other duties will include security of the sites, minor maintenance work including painting and cleaning, and liaison with contractors.
You may be required to support other schools within the Central Region Schools Trust where appropriate. You will need to be flexible during busy periods and be able to work split shifts as and when required.
The successful candidate must have the ability to use effective communication skills; written, oral and ICT skills are essential. You must hold a valid driving licence.
