We’re now seeking a Head of TLA, CPD & Digital TLA to be responsible for leading, delivering, managing processes and activities to improve teaching, learning and assessment, professional development, and promote the use of Digital technology across South Thames Colleges Group.
You will develop, track, and monitor robust systems and processes for teaching, learning & assessment (TLA), including close liaison with Group Managers and alignment to HR processes including observations and support processes. You will lead and coordinate the Group TLA processes and work closely with the TLA leads for each site, leading the TLA working group and ensuring all processes are fully implemented at all sites. We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced full time Catering Manager at Rolls Crescent in term time with a minimum of NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Food Preparation and Cooking and Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate.
The strong kitchen team take pride in the delivery of fresh and appetising food for both pupils and staff, and work to high standards following Health and Safety procedures. We are looking for somebody with a flexible, energetic approach to start work on Monday 18th November 2024.
The salary is pro rata to Grade 4, Scale Point 7 to 11, £25,584 to £27,269 (dependent on experience).
Working hours are 35 per week (6.30am to 2.00pm, inc.30 mins break) term time only, with five additional days allocated across the year for deep cleaning during training days and holidays.

About the role

You will line manage Learning Support Staff and provide direct support to the team. You will be responsible for providing on-course assistance to students with learning difficulties or disabilities both in the classroom and around the College.



About you

You will have a level 2 qualification or equivalent experience. Good general education in English, Maths and/or IT to level 2. A willingness to undertake continual professional development and continual IT skills upgrading and an understanding of the reasons for an Equal Opportunities Policy and how it affects the immediate working environment and relationships with clients.
