HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a merged Further Education College Group in West London. We have five campuses at Harrow on the Hill, Harrow Weald, Hayes, Uxbridge and Richmond upon Thames.
We are seeking to appoint an Internal Auditor to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
• Performing and controlling the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
• Determining the internal audit scope and developing annual plans
• Obtaining, analysing and evaluating accounting documentation and information
• Preparing and presenting reports that reflect audit results
• Identifying loopholes and recommending risk aversion measures and cost savings
We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate the following:
• Previous internal audit experience, from scoping through to finish, with sound knowledge of audit principles
• Up to date knowledge of internal l audit standards and good practice, including the public sector internal audit standard
• Ability to find practical and innovative solutions to a range of financial, governance and risk areas
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

Are you looking to gain experience in event management or marketing?
We are looking for a motivated and creative individual who is eager to get stuck in to join our college as a Marketing and Events Intern for up to four months.
This internship offers the opportunity to do professional-level work under supervision in such areas as writing website and blog updates, social media content generation, working on events, as well as assisting the marketing team with researching, planning and executing marketing campaigns. There will be opportunities to develop public speaking skills by going out with the team to schools to promote our College.
In addition to helping with marketing and events activities, interns will also help with basic office work as needed.
To be successful you will have excellent communication skills and be administratively efficient, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently coupled with a collaborative team approach.
This position would be ideally suited to someone wishing to gain marketing experience, or experience in education with a view to a future career in this sector.
Internships typically last about 3-6 months and can range from 3-5 days per week, including some evening and weekend work on events, although we are flexible and happy to suggest alternatives if needed.

St Martins School are looking to recruit Supported Internship Tutor to develop and run a Supported Internship programme in partnership with Royal Derby Hospital, ISS and other partners.
Nationally, only 6.2% of young people with SEND go into paid employment – this is even lower in Derby at only 3.8%. Supported Internships are about opening up more opportunities to those young people. The Derby project has been running for the last five years and we have seen numerous students go into paid employment as a result.
The successful candidate will be based at the hospital and be responsible for leading the education element of the Project, as well as supporting the job coach in the students’ internship rotations. A formal teaching qualification is not necessary.
