Salary: Grade CLF 8 - £27,964 - £30,146. Actual starting salary £23,945

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our supportive and talented team at Monkton Wood Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Cover Supervisor who will supervise whole classes and/or small groups during the short term absence of the timetabled class teacher, whether planned or un-planned absence. Ensure students carry out the curriculum tasks set by the absent teacher, assisting them to understand the nature of the work set, managing student behaviour and minimising the impact of the teacher’s absence on their learning.
