II. Overview of Function

Our mission in the Individual Giving and Digital Growth Marketing Unit is to enhance both long-term and short-term predictable income from individual members across various segments. We aim to foster a robust fundraising environment that ensures the sustainable growth, retention, and engagement of our member base.

Our focus is on creating impactful strategies to maximize member contributions, recognizing that every dollar counts and every member matters. By leveraging innovative digital marketing techniques and data-driven insights, we strive to raise, maintain, and expand our income, supporting our mission with unwavering dedication. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring WWF provides an engaging member experience wherever they are in their journey with us, ensuring they have opportunities to grow closer to the people and projects they fund and have further opportunities to give.

III. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Member Journey Management (40%)

● Enhance & create new marketing treatments for existing members segmented by different tiers based on monetary value, engagement and behavioral attributes.

● Uncover member needs and how they interact with WWF’s various touch points including the communication channels like email, whatsapp, call-center as well as events and volunteering activities through data & analytics from various insights initiatives.

● Create & review member metrics; NPS & CSAT & service performance across all member touchpoints; digital and non-digital; conduct constant pulse check, engage with key stakeholders to communicate the member insights & KPI performance and findings for continuous improvement of NPS and member satisfaction.

● Analyze and map member journey, capturing front and back-end processes, resolve barriers to achieve a seamless and positive member experience. Accountable to track CX at touchpoints, enhance and re-design member journeys to meet member expectations.

● Collaboration with stakeholders to manage CX initiative projects within timelines and KPIs.

Deep understanding of member insights to identify trends, pain points and opportunities for enhancement. Conduct root cause analysis to identify gaps, recurring issues in process, system, service, people or product, and determine solutions with stakeholders to improve members’ experience.

● Strong leadership and management skills to help grow team members, improve overall engagement through effective communication, stakeholder management, performance management, empowerment and coaching.

● Clear and strong governance organization with agile mindset whilst compliance of SOPs, company and regulatory guidelines/ policies & standard requirements.

Insights and Optimisation of omni-channel communication (30%)

● Understand data, trends, and patterns within member datasets to identify pointers that help create actionable insights leading to effective decision-making.

● Manage and measure performance through data insight and trend analysis.

● Create campaigns to gather new data points on our members (e.g., date of birth, address)

● Look at how we best gather new ‘softer metrics’ from our members and deepen our understanding of their motivations, satisfaction, and interests, through polls, surveys, NPS, and CSAT. And using any insights or trends from this to further develop, optimize, and personalize the journeys

Stewardship and event management (20%)

● Regularly present on performance to the Head of IG - DGM and other senior management

● Develop engaging thought-provoking content and stewardship opportunities that encourage loyalty, repeating giving, and give the member unique access to the cause, people, projects, and places that are funding

● Be involved in briefing multi-media teams to gather relevant and engaging content for our member audiences from the field

● Ensure content being requested from the field is relevant and engaging and promotes loyalty and fundraising objectives.

● Explore new ways to reach members with stewardship offers – Webinars, Facebook Lives, etc.

● Create opportunities to connect members with our teams in the field and hear directly from them

● Keep abreast of sector trends, learning, and insights, in particular, new and engaging ways to enhance the experience WWF can provide to its members

Data and Operations Support (10%)

● Assist in the research and due diligence of member data and ensure the integrity of the member database / CRM, and generate associated reports. Requires collaboration with Finance, CRM team, and Data teams

● Keep updated on new marketing and CRM platforms and ensure smooth transition of operations to these platforms as and when required

IV.Profile:

Requirements:

● Education - Bachelors in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent relevant experience as below

● 3 years of experience in marketing, member experience role in retail, e-commerce or large non-profit organisation, with a large consumer base

Major Functions:

The Head is responsible for administration, development and overseeing of a portfolio of international, regional and local conservation projects. They ensure that projects and initiatives are aligned with best practices and international WWF standards. This position demands strategic thinking, a flexible resilient mindset and adaptive project management experience, close collaboration with internal and external WWF colleagues and stakeholders particularly for fundraising and contract management.

The candidate must have a good understanding of the key principles of biodiversity conservation. Good knowledge of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) is a plus. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in advancing WWF-Singapore’s strategic interests around conservation in Asia and beyond. The candidate must be comfortable representing WWF- Singapore within the WWF network and with external stakeholders.

A major aspect of this role will be leading and management of day-to-day administration of all team activities and staff, interns and volunteers. The post holder works in cross-functional programme teams including closely with but not limited to Operations, Finance, Fundraising and Communications and with other WWF offices for project related matters.

As a member of WWF-SG’s Extended Leadership Team, the Head will play a key role in identifying and addressing challenges, employee communications, as well as peer-support to fellow Heads to develop a stronger team, united in our mission.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

● Oversee conservation programmes for WWF-Singapore: Work closely with the Director of Conservation and Science to identify suitable terrestrial and marine projects in Singapore and elsewhere that align with office and network strategy.

● Project design: Work with other WWF offices and local partners to identify and/or co-design conservation projects with the aim of delivering high impact outcomes that align WWF and major donor interests. Ensure selected projects follow WWF standards with cross-departmental support, especially with the fundraising department. Work with the Director and other team members to identify and implement innovative conservation techniques to projects and outreach to various stakeholders.

● Programme management: Act as the primary profit & loss owner for field team unit, ensuring that every project is delivered to a high quality, on time, and is adequately costed and fundraised, so as to ensure the financial sustainability of the unit and its projects. Ensure that projects are delivered against SMART objectives, outcomes and indicators. Coordinate and lead the team to deliver the programmes as needed. Report on project progress to the senior management team and board members as required. Ensure the project dashboard is updated. Attend calls with other WWF offices and partners on project progress. ● Fundraising: Work with field team members on proposals to secure funding for the projects by working closely with the Growth and Partnerships department. This includes donor and stakeholder engagement and presentations, and reporting on key conservation projects and programmes.

● Communications and outreach: Develop and deliver initiatives working in collaboration with other WWF overseas teams and WWF Singapore including corporate partnerships, philanthropy as well as education and outreach teams. This may include delivering talks, webinars, community engagement initiatives and media engagement as needed. Guide the content and fact-check all communications-related materials relevant to the portfolio, working closely with and supporting the growth and partnerships teams. Head will also be required to ensure the team is able to produce and deliver communications such as op-ed pieces and deliver social media and other communications material with a calendar of field team work communication output. Oversee relevant content for annual reports and internal and external impact reports.

● Internal & external engagements: Act as WWF-Singapore’s co-focal point for WWF Practices with relevant staff and ensure cohesion and strategic alignment between WWF Singapore and the broader WWF network following key Forest/Biodiversity/Oceans Practice developments and initiatives within the Network and relaying relevant information to the WWF Singapore conservation, and growth and partnerships teams. ● Thought leadership: provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise especially in the areas of wildlife, ecosystems and NbS to ensure that priority conservation strategies and goals are grounded in, and informed by, the best available science and best practices within the WWF network and in the market. Input into Singapore government reviews and consultations as needed.

● Staff management: Manage the day to day activities of the field team staff including contract staff, interns and volunteers. Provide strong and effective leadership, guidance, goal- setting and constructive feedback, and fostering a positive work environment that aligns with WWF Singapore’s mission and vision.

Required skills and competencies:

● Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of local and Asian forest, wildlife, coastal and marine ecosystems, their biodiversity, and the factors impacting their health and resilience; Knowledge and experience of NbS for ecosystems a plus. Experience in policy work will be an advantage.

● Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically to align efforts with broader organizational goals in the context of Singapore, Asia Pacific and beyond as needed. Required qualifications and skills

● Minimum of 8 years of professional experience preferred

II. Overview of Function

The mission of the Philanthropy team is to contribute significant, sustainable levels of philanthropic funding to support the local (Singapore-based) and regional (SEA-based) conservation, sustainability and education programmes in order to advance WWF-Singapore’s mission. The team works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to assist in the implementation of WWF-Singapore’s philanthropy strategy.

The Senior Executive, Philanthropy is expected to raise substantial funds from granting organizations including trusts, foundations and government agencies, mid-value and major donors, as well as build effective relationships with various stakeholders. The role is also responsible for the effective stewardship of current donors and supporters. This involves overseeing the stewardship activities to retain and cultivate ongoing relationships. Working collaboratively with the Head of Philanthropy, the Senior Executive, Philanthropy conducts research on potential prospects, analyses and manages the database of donors and prospects, provides bespoke support for donors and organises bespoke events,trips and activities.

III. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Major Gifts Development (30%)

● Work with the Head of Philanthropy to develop and execute an annual FR strategy to solicit individual gifts and raise funds from foundations, major donors and other grantmaking organisations

● Work with the Head of Philanthropy to design effective budget models and be accountable for achievement of income targets; ensure project implementation and expenditure of funds is achieved within contractual milestones

● Effectively manage the donor cycle by developing and managing donor list and prospect pipeline, reporting, developing engagement and grant application plans, and capturing all activity within the CRM system

● Research and write grants; provide timely reporting and ensure compliance as required with grant awards

Stewardship (30%)

● Works closely with the Head of Philanthropy and the Stewardship Manager to develop an effective plan for engagement and donorstewardship activities. Examples include regular check in with donors, sharing relevant news and updates on programmes, creating impact reports, and other activities as required to increase their affinity to WWF and grow their support

● Designs and produces engaging and inspiring communication strategies and materials for major donors to communicate the progress and impact of programmes; using existing materials where possible and aligning communications with the wider Partnerships team.

● Liaise with relevant teams (e.g. country field teams, WWF-SG conservation, finance) to collate information, fact checks and seeks clarification to ensure the info provided is accurate and up-to-date. Requires coordination and excellent working relationships within WWF Singapore and across APAC conservation teams

● Designs and manages bespoke, segmented and mass digital communications to UHNWls, VIPs, board members, including newsletters, event invitations and registrations via Active Campaign, EventBrite or similar software

● Designs, drafts and edits philanthropy communications documents and digital presentations, including selection and inclusion of infographics, images, videos and photos to compellingly communicate to sophisticated external audiences

● Proactively seek and knowledge manage environmental and conservation news which may be of interest to the Philanthropy audience

Due Diligence and Research (15%)

● Works with the Head of Philanthropy to fulfill requirements of internal due diligence processes including software and database management

● Coordinates with key stakeholders in different departments to ensure all due diligence and compliance requirements are met

● Conducts prospective major donor, trusts and foundations, multilateral grants and board of directors research including profiling and preparing of bios

● Assists in research and preparation of briefing documents for HNWIs, VIPs, the government, and other stakeholders

Data Management and Administrative Support (15%)

● Ensures the integrity of the donor database / CRM, and generates associated reports, such as the HNWI prospect pipeline, philanthropy income and major donor projects. Requires collaboration with Finance and CRM teams

● Maintain an accurate database of contacts on Active Campaign for mass/segmented communications.

● Oversee the process of signing gift agreements and no-cost extensions, seeking internal approval and legal advice as appropriate.

● Provides operational and administrative support Procurement process including venue or vendor selection, quotation form, invoicing etc

● Processing invoices and financial statements in close collaboration with WWF-Singapore’s Finance Team

Events (10%)

● Organises bespoke events, activities and fundraisers for existing donors and prospects

● Assists in organising bespoke events, activities and fundraisers for existing donors and prospects; coordinates RSVPs

● Prepare talking points, key messages, and briefings for bespoke events targeted at HNWI and major donors.

● Project manages donor and prospect conservation project site visits across APAC, including itineraries and budgets, in collaboration with APAC Network Offices

IV. Profile:

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline with excellent results. Postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.

● At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in advisory, business development, philanthropy or environmental communications, project management, and / or fundraising, with proven success.

○ Proven track record in high-value target achievement in either trusts and foundations, public sector, major donor or corporate fundraising. Experience with proposals and grant applications a plus.Outstanding verbal and written English expression, including an ability to craft language and tone for impact reports, newsletters, thank-you letters and other correspondence, with attention to detail and correct grammar. Knowledge in Chinese (e.g. Mandarin, Cantonese) a plus Experience in cultivating relationships and support effective stewardship of granting organisations and donors

I. Mission of the Asia Sustainable Finance Team:

WWF has identified the finance sector as a key driver of global economic activity with which we must engage to successfully deliver on our long-term conservation mission. To do this, we work with key finance sector players including banks, investors, regulators, and stock exchanges, across six focus areas:

1. Regulations and Guidelines: We provide recommendations and facilitate dialogue between regulatory authorities and financial institutions (FIs) to issue harmonized regulations and guidelines that raise the bar for sustainable finance at the national and regional level.

2. Standards: We help FIs understand what makes certain standards and certification schemes credible to help them ensure that their due diligence and verification processes assure robust sustainability practices.

3. Capacity Building: We empower FIs through capacity building on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues through industry-wide workshops and bilateral training sessions. Our training covers a range of sectors and thematic focus areas and helps FIs to better assess and price risk, value companies, and develop new products.

4. Research & Tools: We conduct research, develop best practice guides, and benchmark FIs’ progress on ESG integration to ensure timely progress towards a resilient and sustainable financial system. We also help FIs to understand and implement cutting-edge tools so they can better understand, measure, and manage evolving ESG risks and opportunities.

5. Engagement: We help investors exert their influence and facilitate large scale, meaningful change by providing research and analysis that supports their engagement with portfolio companies over key ESG issues.

6. Green Financial Solutions: We work with FIs to support the development of innovative green financial and channel financing to nature based solutions based on science-based criteria that create measurable environmental and social impacts alongside competitive financial returns.

In Asia, we work across seven (6) ASEAN countries - Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam – as well as in Japan and South Korea. We focus on sustainability issues related to soft commodities finance (e.g. agriculture, forestry, and seafood), the energy and infrastructure sectors, and crosscutting issues such as climate and nature.

III. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The VP will contribute to the general work of the team work under the direction of senior team members across the following areas, part of the responsible investment team:

Accelerate financing for nature-based projects across Asia

• Develop strategy for financing nature-based projects in Asia in collaboration with WWF country offices and finance practice

• Work with projects in Asia to structure project plans to meet requirements of donors / financiers

• Develop relationships with funds and philanthropic organisations in Singapore that invest in nature-based projects to widen potential funding sources for projects

• Conduct research on emerging green and blue financial solutions to support the development and structuring of innovative financial solutions to mobilize additional capital to protect and restore nature and communities

Stakeholder engagement and relationship management

• Manage relationships with key finance sector stakeholders, including investors (asset owners, asset managers), regulators, government ministries, etc.

• Manage relationships with conservation project leads across WWF Asian countries to develop a pipeline of bankable projects

Communications

• Represent WWF perspectives, present WWF research and tools, and demonstrate thought leadership on sustainable finance at regional/domestic conferences and other events

• Manage the communication of research findings and WWF positions to finance sector stakeholders through multiple channels, e.g. press releases for mainstream/trade media, op-eds/blogs, interviews, social media, etc.

• Manage communications with other WWF national offices and other relevant internal stakeholders to identify and address potential conflicts in objectives and interests

Training and capacity building

• Develop and leverage technical expertise to support the organization and content development for capacity building workshops, webinars and other events targeted at finance sector stakeholders (asset managers and private banks in particular) on sustainable finance and ESG issues/trends, including climate and nature themes

• Work with WWF conservation, commodity, climate and water experts to distil insights and knowledge into guidance and recommendations for the finance sector

• Build capacity of wider WWF network on sustainable finance and ensure understanding of its contribution to their respective interests and priorities

Fundraising, budgeting, and reporting

• Contribute to writing funding proposals to secure long-term funding for both the Singapore sustainable finance team and regional offices

• Assist in monitoring, evaluating, budgeting and reporting of project performance against planned objectives and deliverables and milestones

Required Skills and Competencies

• 5+ years of experience in sustainable finance or related field, preferably with experience in financing of nature based solutions

3 Major Duties and Responsibilities

● Serves as an initial point of contact for the Technology & Applications Unit handling all the Level 1 queries and providing them advice on appropriate solutions

● Collect and analyse feedback submitted by members to the team's Zendesk email address;

Role Summary:

WWF is looking for an experienced and passionate individual to serve as the Global Lead for WWF’s Carbon Finance and Markets Taskforce. The Taskforce is co-led by WWF’s Forest Practice and Climate and Energy Practice to influence and promote best practices for carbon finance and markets around the world, and leverage credibly implemented carbon finance to protect and enhance WWF priority landscapes, seascapes and watersheds. The Taskforce leads on WWF’s positions on carbon finance and markets, including a blueprint for corporate action on climate and natureand guidance for high-quality climate investments for climate, nature and people. We are looking for a leader to help galvanize WWF’s existing work on carbon finance, further increase our internal capacity and ramp up our influence externally.

Four task teams enable the work of the Taskforce - a Demand Task Team, a Policy Task Team, a Supply Task team and an Expertise Hub. The Global Lead, Carbon Finance and Markets Taskforce is accountable to the Carbon Markets and Finance Core Team, supported by an Advisory Group.

The role will be based in Asia and will have an additional responsibility to help build capacity in the host office and across the wider Asia region.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for WWF’s work on carbon finance and markets, and delivery of its goals and outcomes and promote strategic alignment with WWF Office and Practice Strategic Plans; this includes but is not limited to:

• serving the network to advance thinking on carbon finance and markets topics and develop specific services/products for the network.

• consolidating WWF’s understanding of the potential and limits of market mechanisms in science-based net zero strategies.

• mainstreaming the contribution approach to BVCM by strengthening its conceptual clarity and commercial appeal, including claims;

• Coordination of direct support to NbS for climate mitigation interventions involving WWF (as required) by access to general operational and policy guidance (based on existing WWF guiding material) and organizing advisory sessions for case specific guidance;

• Build capacity in the Asia region and home office and support local and regional project development;

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience leading and growing successful, impactful advocacy/policy as well as field programs, with experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, and working within complex organisations that span many countries and cultures;

• 10 years progressively senior professional work experience related to nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation, together with experience in working in some of the following fields: forestry, conservation, policy, environment, sustainable development, forest or deforestation-related agricultural commodity supply chains;

• Graduate degree in environmental science, sustainability, forestry or any climate change and carbon mitigation-related field, a master’s degree is a plus;

• Experience in partnership management, fundraising and marketing are critical to the role.

II. Overview of Function

The mission of the Philanthropy team is to contribute significant, sustainable levels of philanthropic funding to support the local (Singapore-based) and regional (SEA-based) conservation, sustainability and education programmes in order to advance WWF-Singapore’s mission. The team works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to assist in the implementation of WWF-Singapore’s philanthropy strategy.

The Philanthropy Officer is expected to raise substantial funds from granting organizations including trusts, foundations and government agencies, mid-value and major donors, as well as build effective relationships with various stakeholders. The role is also responsible for the effective stewardship of current donors and supporters. This involves overseeing the stewardship activities to retain and cultivate ongoing relationships. Working collaboratively with the Head of Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Offer conducts research on potential prospects, analyses and manages the database of donors and prospects, provides bespoke support for donors and organises bespoke events,trips and activities.

III. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Major Gifts Development (30%)

● Work with the Head of Philanthropy to develop and execute an annual FR strategy to solicit individual gifts and raise funds from foundations, major donors and other grantmaking organisations

● Work with the Head of Philanthropy to design effective budget models and be accountable for achievement of income targets; ensure project implementation and expenditure of funds is achieved within contractual milestones

● Effectively manage the donor cycle by developing and managing donor list and prospect pipeline, reporting, developing engagement and grant application plans, and capturing all activity within the CRM system

● Research and write grants; provide timely reporting and ensure compliance as required with grant awards

Stewardship (30%)

● Works closely with the Head of Philanthropy and the Stewardship Manager to develop an effective plan for engagement and donorstewardship activities. Examples include regular check in with donors, sharing relevant news and updates on programmes, editing impact reports, and other activities as required to increase their affinity to WWF and grow their support

● Designs and produces engaging and inspiring communication strategies and materials for major donors to communicate the progress and impact of programmes; using existing materials where possible and aligning communications with the wider Partnerships team.

● Liaise with relevant teams (e.g. country field teams, WWF-SG conservation, finance) to collate information, fact check and seek clarification to ensure the info provided is accurate and up-to-date. Requires coordination and excellent working relationships within WWF Singapore and across APAC conservation teams

● Designs and manages bespoke, segmented and mass digital communications to UHNWls, VIPs, board members, including newsletters, event invitations and registrations via Active Campaign, EventBrite or similar software

● Designs, drafts and edits philanthropy communications documents and digital presentations, including selection and inclusion of infographics, images, videos and photos to compellingly communicate to sophisticated external audiences

● Proactively seek and knowledge manage environmental and conservation news which may be of interest to the Philanthropy audience

Due Diligence and Research (15%)

● Works with the Head of Philanthropy to fulfill requirements of internal due diligence processes including software and database management

● Coordinates with key stakeholders in different departments to ensure all due diligence and compliance requirements are met

● Conducts prospective major donor, trusts and foundations, multilateral grants and board of directors research including profiling and preparing of bios

● Assists in research and preparation of briefing documents for HNWIs, VIPs, the government, and other stakeholders

Data Management and Administrative Support (15%)

● Ensures the integrity of the donor database / CRM, and generates associated reports, such as the HNWI prospect pipeline, philanthropy income and major donor projects. Requires collaboration with Finance and CRM teams

● Maintain an accurate database of contacts on Active Campaign for mass/segmented communications.

● Oversee the process of signing gift agreements and no-cost extensions, seeking internal approval and legal advice as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline with excellent results. Postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.

● At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in advisory, business development, philanthropy or environmental communications, project management, and / or fundraising, with proven success.

○ Proven track record in high-value target achievement in either trusts and foundations, public sector, major donor or corporate fundraising. Experience with proposals and grant applications a plus.Outstanding verbal and written English expression, including an ability to craft language and tone for impact reports, newsletters, thank-you letters and other correspondence, with attention to detail and correct grammar. As an experienced manager you will lead an exciting newly formed team, combining the highest levels of supporter care, building meaning and sophisticated journeys for our supporters to join and stay motivated in helping to restore nature to its glorious best and to save our planet.

In this role, your flair and ambition will be the driving force in bringing together traditional customer and supporter retention, alongside building and growing an integrated digital approach in communications.

You will play a key role in the marketing, communications and fundraising leadership team, ensuring the WWF-Singapore conservation & organisational strategies are implemented across all our supporter communications. Seeking to always optimize our support and income across multiple channels.

You will be a highly effective marketing & fundraising manager with a proven track record of developing people and programmes. Capable in mobilising, inspiring and developing a high level of personal performance, across a multiple of disciplines to drive successful income generation campaigns.

As Head of a large Department your main duties will be:

1. Increase and diversify revenue streams by involving volunteers and non-financial supporters
   
   : Rather than continuously pursuing new leads, we can convert existing contacts into financial supporters, reducing our cost per lead and avoiding market saturation. This also allows us to focus on nurturing those who have already shown interest in WWF, resulting in higher conversion rate. We have already adopted this approach with the Telemarketing team, with 80% of their focus shifted from generating new leads to reactivating lapsed donors.
2. Provide a meaningful 360-degree experience and identify cross-selling opportunities: With the right systems we can categorize our supporters and volunteers into different groups based on their level of engagement, and tailor our engagement tactics accordingly. This will help us increase loyalty and optimize our strategies, such as creating personalized activation and call-to-action plans for each group within the Kosong Plan journey, which will lead to cross-selling and up-selling revenue opportunities.
3. Adopt a unified digital marketing and social media strategy to enhance the efficiency of our channels and boost ROI: By consolidating our social media and digital marketing strategies, this team can fix some frictions and breakthroughs and create tailored campaigns, strengthen our brand identity, and analyze data to improve performance. This will not only foster trust and loyalty among supporters, donors, and volunteers, but also optimize and save resources and prevent duplicative efforts, contributing to better use of WWF-Singapore’s funds. For example when launching a new campaign, we can repurpose efforts and target a wider audience (volunteers, non-financial supporters) and have a greater impact with the same resources.
4. Establish the Database, Operations and Transformation team which could be hived-off as a standalone unit in due course: To provide additional support to the entire organization. This will enable this team to focus more on generating income and retaining supporters and donors, while the Database, Operations and Transformation team can focus on enhancing data management, streamlining operations, and developing systems that will benefit all departments, such as Partnerships, Finance and Project & Ops. Our goal is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, ultimately driving greater impact for our cause.
5. Optimize and standardize all reporting needs linked to fundraising according to the set objectives and needs of individual units in the organization, e.g. Finance, Communications, multiple Fundraising Units, Donor Care. Ensure timely delivery of reports.
   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive & cross-functional donor acquisition, retention, care, and growth strategy.
   2. Work with the team to build program strategies to deliver on ROI, gross and net income targets, financial KPI’s and donor care.

II. Overview of Function

The mission of the Philanthropy team is to contribute significant, sustainable levels of philanthropic funding to support the local (Singapore-based) and regional (SEA-based) conservation, sustainability and education programmes in order to advance WWF-Singapore’s mission. The team works closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to assist in the implementation of WWF-Singapore’s philanthropy strategy.

The Philanthropy Development and Stewardship Officer is expected to raise substantial funds from granting organizations including trusts, foundations and government agencies, mid-value and major donors, as well as build effective relationships with various stakeholders. The role is also responsible for the effective stewardship of current donors and supporters. This involves overseeing the stewardship activities to retain and cultivate ongoing relationships. Working collaboratively with the Head of Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Development and Stewardship Executive conducts research on potential prospects, analyses and manages the database of donors and prospects, provides bespoke support for donors and organises bespoke events, trips and activities.

IV. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Major Gifts Development (30%)

● Work with the Head of Philanthropy to develop and execute an annual FR strategy to solicit individual gifts and raise funds from foundations, major donors and other grantmaking organisations

● Work with the Head of Philanthropy to design effective budget models and be accountable for achievement of income targets; ensure project implementation and expenditure of funds is achieved within contractual milestones

● Effectively manage the donor cycle by developing and managing donor list and prospect pipeline, reporting, developing engagement and grant application plans, and capturing all activity within the CRM system

● Research and write grants; provide timely reporting and ensure compliance as required with grant awards

Stewardship (30%)

● Works closely with the Head of Philanthropy and the Stewardship Manager to develop an effective plan for engagement and donor stewardship activities. Examples include regular check in with donors, sharing relevant news and updates on programmes, editing impact reports, and other activities as required to increase their affinity to WWF and grow their support

● Designs and produces engaging and inspiring communication strategies and materials for major donors to communicate the progress and impact of programmes; using existing materials where possible and aligning communications with the wider Partnerships team.

● Liaise with relevant teams (e.g. country field teams, WWF-SG conservation, finance) to collate information, fact check and seek clarification to ensure the info provided is accurate and up-to-date. Requires coordination and excellent working relationships within WWF Singapore and across APAC conservation teams

● Designs and manages bespoke, segmented and mass digital communications to UHNWls, VIPs, board members, including newsletters, event invitations and registrations via Active Campaign, EventBrite or similar software

● Designs, drafts and edits philanthropy communications documents and digital presentations, including selection and inclusion of infographics, images, videos and photos to compellingly communicate to sophisticated external audiences

● Proactively seek and knowledge manage environmental and conservation news which may be of interest to the Philanthropy audience

Due Diligence and Research (15%)

● Works with the Head of Philanthropy to fulfill requirements of internal due diligence processes including software and database management

● Coordinates with key stakeholders in different departments to ensure all due diligence and compliance requirements are met

● Conducts prospective major donor, trusts and foundations, multilateral grants and board of directors research including profiling and preparing of bios

● Assists in research and preparation of briefing documents for HNWIs, VIPs, the government, and other stakeholders

Data Management and Administrative Support (15%)

● Ensures the integrity of the donor database / CRM, and generates associated reports, such as the HNWI prospect pipeline, philanthropy income and major donor projects. Requires collaboration with Finance and CRM teams

● Maintain an accurate database of contacts on Active Campaign for mass/segmented communications.

● Oversee the process of signing gift agreements and no-cost extensions, seeking internal approval and legal advice as appropriate.

V. Profile:

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline with excellent results. Postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.

● At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in advisory, business development, philanthropy or environmental communications, project management, and / or fundraising, with proven success.

● Proven track record in high-value target achievement in either trusts and foundations, public sector, major donor or corporate fundraising. Experience with proposals and grant applications a plus.Outstanding verbal and written English expression, including an ability to craft language and tone for impact reports, newsletters, thank-you letters and other correspondence, with attention to detail and correct grammar. II. Major Functions:

The Manager should be able to do business development and corporate stewardship within WWF-Singapore. The Asst. Manager / Manager will have the drive, knowledge and skills to engage business leaders in transformational change, delivering shared conservation and community objectives, which will enable Singapore’s businesses to be a leading force in achieving the country’s sustainability goals over the next 10-30 years.

The role is also responsible for creating innovative corporate partnerships and fundraising channels. As part of the Fundraising Unit, the Asst. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Direction & Leadership

• Support the Senior Manager and Deputy Director of Partnerships and Philanthropy to ensure that fundraising and acquisition goals are achieved and tracked, and contribute to the department’s overall fundraising objectives

Overview of Partnerships Team / Unit

The Partnerships Team develops and builds partnerships and relationships that drive income to support WWF’s conservation goals. The team’s aim is to contribute significant, sustainable levels of philanthropic funding from 1) high-networth individuals (HNWI) 2) trusts and foundations, 3) companies to support the local (Singapore-based) and regional (mainly South-East Asia) conservation, sustainability and education programmes in order to advance WWF-Singapore’s mission.

The team works closely with the Senior Management Team and peers in Conservation, Communications, Sustainable Finance, and Accounting and Finance teams to effectively contribute to the implementation of WWF-Singapore’s partnerships and philanthropic strategy.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, people person with a positive attitude that could help manage and steward WWF’s partnerships. This is a maternity cover role and you will be working closely with our core team to drive long-term partnerships with new and existing partners as well as engaging them through different activities.

Primary Role in Stewardship & Communications (85%) Account Management & Relationship Building

• Multitask and manage medium to priority partnerships and ensure that existing partners are stewarded appropriately, resulting in profitable long-term partnerships.
• Maintain open lines of communication with partners and/or relevant stakeholders to foster strong relationships and ensure they are informed.
