- Prepares, executes, and/or tracks program specific information, such as official records, action items, performance measures, personnel actions, status of mandatory training, and training and travel requests.
- Performs work involving the collection, compilation, and/or tracking of data and statistical information in support of fellowship and student rotations within the CCSL. This data is compiled daily in some instances, while other requirements are monthly. Several areas which require such collection and tracking include Without Compensation (WOC) applications, Talent Management System (TMS) mandatory trainings and modules, attendance at conferences, and Electronic Permission Access System (EPAS) system requests.
- Monitors nursing license expirations and proficiencies; notifies RN and Nurse Manager; collects new license/sends copy to Human Resources and updates database.

The Oncology/Hematology Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical expert who uses advanced specialized knowledge and judgement for delivery of high quality and evidence-based care to oncology patients and their families. Uses a team approach to identify, analyze, and resolve patient care problems with measurable outcomes. Completes physiological assessments and completes documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in accordance to established policies and procedures. Triages patient problems and assists in the evaluation of symptoms and initiate interventions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Monitors, tracks/tends, and reports ongoing care needs and outcomes to the interdisciplinary team. They direct the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies, and providing quality improvement and outcome utilization. They provide a safe working environment while administering, handling, and disposing of antineoplastic drugs and medical waste. They oversee the administration and management of various medical procedures and treatments in the oncology setting, including vascular access devices and infusion treatments. Conducts in-service education based on insights gained from oncology professional development activities and acquiring specialized skills in oncology-specific areas, including chemotherapy administration, oncology electronic ordering systems, and calculating drug dosages. The Oncology/Hematology RN manages monitoring requirements for specific drugs, handling immediate infusion reactions, and preventing and managing oncology-related symptoms and adverse events, such as chemo-related symptoms and immune-related adverse events. The technologist must possess professional knowledge of the scientific principles, concepts and methodology of nuclear medicine technology to carry out a variety of diagnostic tests and verify results. He/She must be knowledgeable of multiple physical facts of radionuclides, their use and their effect on the different body organs being imaged. The technologist must possess multidisciplinary skills in order to assist with stress tests by starting IV's, placing EKG leads, taking blood pressures and ensuring all monitoring equipment is functional. In case of an emergency, the technologist provides oxygen, fluids, administers CPR and other life support when necessary while waiting for dedicated medical emergency staff to arrive.

The preparation, calibration and administration of radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of an authorized user (Nuclear Medicine Physician)

Independently performs a full range of routine radionuclide imaging studies of various organ systems by planar, tomographic (SPECT) and PET/CT techniques.

Evaluates images and computer generated data and performs additional views as required.

Independently performs, evaluates and monitors quality control measurements of specialized equipment used in the performance of imaging studies such as gamma camera imaging systems by testing flood uniformity, linearity and spatial resolution with devices such as point sources, radioactive flood sources, bar phantoms, computers, dose calibrators, well/probe detector systems, and other ancillary equipment used on a daily basis.

Troubleshoots and makes judgments on the acceptable performance of the equipment prior to initiating studies on patients.

Maintains inventory of radioactive sources used for quality control and associated documentation.

• Provides support to the facility's CDCE/Voluntary Service operations as the first point of contact for potential volunteers, patients, visitors, service organizations, corporate and community leaders, donors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Incumbent has full access to the Voluntary Service System (VSS) (and any related or subsequent databases or programs) in which all electronic volunteer and donor/donation records are managed and stored.
• Exhibiting a high degree of tact, diplomacy, and courtesy with every interpersonal interaction daily.
• Serves as the Records Control, Suspense Control, and Report Control officer for CDCE/Voluntary Service.
• Assists in the preparation, collaboration process, correction, and update to service policies while tracking expirations and required coordination across facility services.
• Serves as a PIV Sponsor/Manager for CDCE/Voluntary Service employees.
• Assists the CDCE/Voluntary Service Officer in position management to project staffing needs, entering actions by Human Resources
• Responsible for written correspondence (writing letters and reports).
• Retrieves and provides input for reoccurring reports.
• Compiles data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Information is presented to the CDCE/Voluntary Service Officer for final review and reporting.
• Coordinates requests and purchases of office operating supplies, generates reports from automated information systems, and completes other administrative tasks essential to the effective and efficient operation of the CDCE/Voluntary Service Office.
• Exhibiting a high degree of tact, diplomacy, and courtesy with every interpersonal interaction daily.
• Receives, processes, and tracks gifts and donations including accurate entry into the Voluntary Service System or subsequent electronic donation database programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
