At Turning Tides, we’re passionate about tackling the complex issue of homelessness and transforming lives. Our mission goes beyond simply providing shelter; we strive to build a community where everyone has access to safe, secure housing and the support they need to thrive. As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we are excited to introduce Skywaves—a groundbreaking, high-support service aimed at making a lasting impact.
Skywaves offers 21 self-contained rooms, along with shared communal spaces, designed to provide a safe, supportive environment for those facing some of the most difficult challenges. It is a service tailored to meet the needs of individuals who are actively using substances, coping with dual diagnoses, mental health conditions, or have faced multiple exclusions from other services.
As the Housing Services Manager, you’ll have the chance to take this dynamic service to new heights. Building on its existing success, you’ll continually innovate and refine the way we deliver care—ensuring that Skywaves remains a place of hope and transformation. Your role will be crucial in leading a trauma-informed, personalised approach to reducing harm, managing risks, and ultimately ending the cycle of rough sleeping for those in need.
You’ll also play a key role in shaping the future of Turning Tides, contributing to the strategic development of both Skywaves and the wider organisation. By ensuring operational consistency, overseeing health and safety, and maintaining high standards, you’ll help ensure Skywaves delivers not just a service, but a lifeline for those on their journey to stability. If you’re passionate about making a difference and ready for a rewarding leadership role, we’d love to hear from you!
