Clarendon Academy is looking to appoint a highly skilled Teacher of PE to join its friendly and dedicated PE Department, with effect from September 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT, who is passionate about helping all pupils to achieve excellence.
We are a thriving co-educational, non-denominational secondary school and sixth form, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 18. Located in the bustling town of Trowbridge, Wiltshire, we pride ourselves on being a centre of excellence where young, enthusiastic children enter in Year 7 and leave us at the end of Year 13 as fully rounded young adults. Our staff aim for every lesson, every day, to be exceptional and work tirelessly to ensure students feel that they belong and can achieve their dreams. We are part of the Acorn Education Trust, which provides exciting opportunities to collaborate and improve local education. We are in the exciting position of being able to grow our teaching teams across a number of subject areas ready for September 2024. We have a record number of Year 7s starting with us next year, following on from a consistently growing roll across the last three years.
The successful candidate will be able to teach across the full age and ability range, up to A Level is desirable, and will be a team player happy to collaborate and share ideas with other teachers within the PE Department. QTS status is essential for the role.
