4 Tutor

Support the general achievement and wellbeing of students within curriculum areas and as a form tutor carry out related duties in accordance with the general job description of form tutors.

Participate in appropriate meetings with colleagues and parents related to the responsibilities of a teacher. Represent the department on any working parties and attend appropriate meetings.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working Teacher of German to join our busy Department.

The post would be suitable for a Graduate with a Degree in German who is interested in pursuing a teaching qualification. Currently, the School trains teachers through the University of Buckingham's Teacher Apprenticeship route (with the option to add the PGCE), and we also have a new connection with the National Modern Languages SCITT for whom we are hosting two MFL trainee teachers this year.

The post would also be suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) in either their first or second year of the Early Career Framework. ECTs at WHSB follow the ECF training through the National Institute of Teaching. ECTs also benefit from a reduced timetable and a dedicated mentor.

The Schools Finance Support Partner is responsible to the Strategic Finance Partner and responsible to produce schools financial and statistical reporting and supporting schools with the identification and management of financial risk. Working with the schools, they will ensure that the Trust operates good financial governance in line with the requirements of the Academies Financial Handbook published by the Education Funding Agency (EFA), the Trust Financial Scheme of Delegation.

Duties will include, but are not limited to;

• Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, etc. in order to ensure effective internal controls and compliance by the Trusts academies.
• Be responsible for, where the service is commissioned by the trust, the entry of financial transactions
• (orders, invoices etc) for the school.
• Provide reports in accordance with Trust timelines to the Strategic Finance Partners on areas including:

• Monthly management accounts for the school
• Performance against financial KPIs
• Internal Curriculum Financial Planning
• Financial Resource Management
• Benchmarking

This role is hybrid, remote with travel, if required, to a cluster of academies within the Northwest and Stoke areas when required and Head Office in Kidsgrove for training and team meetings so access to a vehicle and full driving licence will be required.
