The mathematics department at Boston Spa Academy has an excellent track record of academic success. In the past two academic years, Progress 8 measures for the subject at GCSE were +0.97 and +1.07, placing the department as one of the highest performing in the country. This is further supplemented by our thriving A Level provision, in which Mathematics and Further Mathematics have large numbers of students who achieve exceptionally well. We have our own internal inclusion panel, pastoral team and mental health coach and run a range of programs such as Thrive and parenting programs.
