What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit two Teachers as part of the ongoing development of our service, we are seeking a qualified, engaging and experienced teacher with a strong commitment to social inclusion and improving learning outcomes for vulnerable children.

​​You will be a good classroom practitioner who consistently demonstrates the highest standards of delivery and is fully committed to raising attainment. You will demonstrate a good understanding of child development, social and emotional needs and a strong knowledge of effective behaviour support strategies.

​• To contribute to progress reports to parents and carers.

​• To attend consultation sessions with parents and carers, providing quality information about students’ academic, personal, social and emotional progress.

​• To collaborate and liaise with the Trust’s Pastoral Managers and SENDCos. to ensure a ‘joined up’ approach to students’ academic and pastoral experience.

​• To contribute to the development of an appropriate curriculum within the Trust’s curriculum policy and the National Curriculum. • To liaise with colleagues and the Senior Leadership Team in order to monitor and develop curriculum in line with local needs and needs of students.

​• To be responsible for the planning and production of schemes of work within the guidelines of National Curriculum.

​• To attend Teaching and Learning and staff meetings within directed time.

​• To maintain a tidy and orderly classroom which provides a safe, nurturing environment and promotes active learning.

​​Access to personal transport is essential. On occasion you may be required to work across other settings within the Trust.

The successful applicants will be key members of the team, carrying out the professional duties of a teacher whilst undertaking any duties and tasks under the reasonable direction of the senior leadership team;

• planning and delivering lessons to pupils, in particular those with severe learning disabilities

What you will offer

The successful applicant will not need to have previous experience working in a SEN provision, but must demonstrate a thorough understanding of SEN. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of effective strategies to meet the specific communication needs of pupils with significant SEND, and must be able to plan lessons effectively for groups and all the pupils.

You will have successful teaching experience across primary, secondary or both. You will have strong subject knowledge in your own subject and also the ability to teach across other subject areas.

What skills and experience we're looking for

The role of Deputy CEO has been created to reflect the critical importance of sustaining strength across our academies and traded services offer, at the same time as expanding our reach. As well as being an important member of the Trust Leadership Team, deputising for the Chief Executive Officer, the role requires someone who is able to utilise their meticulous management skills to innovate further.

The successful candidate will be a highly credible school leader, with a supportive and candid approach to working with our leadership teams, delivering alongside and being highly visible to them. It is essential that candidates are aligned with our commitment to alternative provision, up to date with educational research and current policy: candidates will need to demonstrate an excellent awareness of exceptional teaching.

Of equal importance will be your ethical and inclusive leadership qualities, alongside an ability to challenge and inspire our Raedwald community with kindness, and an unerring commitment to the development of everyone.
