In conjunction with the Leadership team, you will develop and implement a clear cyclic CPD strategy for the whole staff including twilights and INSET days. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing a clear tiered induction plan for all new staff.
You will also be the Lead for mentoring trainee teachers and foundation degree students and will also be responsible for managing the appraisal process throughout the school.

About the School:
The Avenue Special School is looking for creative, motivational, and inspiring professionals. Our vibrant and friendly school community supports more than 250 pupils, aged between 3-19, with a range of severe or profound learning difficulties, some physical disabilities and autism. The Avenue cares deeply about CPD and balancing workloads to allow staff to flourish, so we offer a full programme of training and mentoring, staff wellbeing days, and the chance to work in a supportive and encouraging team environment where your voice really does matter.
Our ambitious school is rapidly expanding, and we need dynamic and committed professionals to join our excellent team.
