We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join our friendly team based at Tarmac ‘The Hub’ in Mountsorrel, Quorn, near to Loughborough in Leicestershire. Loughborough, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Barrow upon Soar, Syston, Shepshed, Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Ibstock, Swadlincote, Measham, Tamworth, Atherstone, Hinkley, Nottingham, Derby, Long Eaton, Kegworth, Burton upon Trent and the surrounding areas.

*Please note this role is a Fixed Term Contract
Main ResponsibilitiesAs the Internal Sales Representative you will have worked in a similar industry providing either internal or external sales support to your wider team and the Tarmac group.
Other responsibilities for this role will include (not exhaustive):
- Keep updated with the product range and develop in-depth knowledge of the Tarmac Readymix 'RMX' and Minimix
- Raising and pricing quotes processing to order conversion or query resolutions
- Converting enquiries into orders, working B2B sales calls and emails
- Demonstrate an excellent telephone manner when dealing with customers
- Prioritise and multitask daily duties
- Understanding and assessing customer needs – advising of new products
- Represent the company and its core values
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Engage with the customer to better understand requirements
- Communicate with the supply chain to obtain pricing, stock levels and lead times
The Ideal CandidateIt is preferred that the successful candidate for the role of Internal Sales Representative will be experienced in the following:
- SAP, CRM and Microsoft IT systems
- Working collaboratively with the existing team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Showing a ‘Proud to work for Tarmac’ attitude, building rapport and positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues
- Being ambitious to learn new skills and achieve your own personal goals, as well as business goal
In the role of Internal Sales Representative you will also have:
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication
- Numeracy and analytical ability
Training will be provided for:
- Products, Procedures and our Computer systems
