YOUR ROLE

ST is hiring a Global Trade Compliance Leader for the Asia Region. This role, reporting to the GVP Head of Corporate Trade Compliance, will be responsible for managing and deploying ST Trade Compliance programs and providing strategic compliance leadership to the Region.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Driving the trade compliance governance strategy and execution in the Asia region.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Minimum 10-year experience in trade compliance as manager or above
• Minimum bachelor's degree, Master preferred in related majors.
• Knowledge of SAP GTS preferred
• Proven record of experience in all core customs and trade subjects including Export Controls regulations, Customs Valuation, Customs rules of origin, ICC Incoterms.
• Knowledge of export controls & regulations in relevant Asian countries. Experience with US Export Regulations and EU dual use regulations required,

You'll join a multi-site product and test engineering team responsible for power discrete SiC (Silicon Carbide) diode portfolio. The SiC rectifier division core team is in Tours (France). For this position, you'll be based in Singapore and your role will be to support the division for the development of those high-performance rectifiers and the constant quality improvement plan: from wafers start in the flow up to the final test on diode housed into the package.

Responsibilities

• the review with local teams of the industrial changes impacting SiC diode production and participate to qualification plan definition, data analysis and milestones deliverables following quality standards and customer requirements.
• follow up all the engineering materials (technology/new product/industrial changes related) running in clean room (diffusion & EWS) to track their cycle time, to schedule the testing and the analysis, up to the disposition for back-end activities (assembly/final test trials)

• 4 to 6 years of relevant audit experience, ideally combining 2 to 3 years in External audit (Big 4 preferred) and 2 to 3 years in the Internal Audit function of a MNC;
• Experience and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization;
• Ability to build and foster strong relationships within the Corporate Audit team and the colleagues from other functions;
• Excellent report writing skills;
• Candidates with solid exposure/familiarity to the following are preferred: 1. Semiconductor or Hi-tech manufacturing industry with multi-sites operations;
  2. SECT 404 (SOX) testing;
  3. SAP (key modules such as FI, MM, etc)
• The ideal candidate is confident, able to work independently and take initiative when warranted, has strong analytical skills and an eye for details, is a team player and has a cooperative mindset.
