We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Deputy Manager to join our team in Middleton St George.
Middleton Lodge is a residential care home where we support up to 10 adults with a range of needs including learning difficulties, physical disabilities, challenging behaviours, and Autism.
Middleton Lodge is a spacious detached bungalow situated in Middleton St George, Darlington.

• Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
• Hours: Full time 40 hours per week.

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting the service manager to lead and oversee the day to day running of the service, completing audits, and liaising with external providers.
• Managing a team of senior support workers and support workers to and supporting their personal development.
• Carrying out supervisions, appraisals, team meetings and practice observations.
Who you are:
• You will have a level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social care.
• You will have previous social care management experience, and a minimum of 2 years experience in a senior role.
• You will communicate well, be organised and have the ability to motivate and engage your team to be the best they can individually and collectively be.
• You will be flexible and adaptable.
• Drivers are preferred but not essential.
