Sales Development Representative

We are on a fast and strategic growth trajectory and are expanding our SDR team to support our large, high-performance sales team. Our SDR’s receive regular mentoring and support to not only help you on-board and ramp effectively but to help develop your skills and fast track your future career.

As a SDR you’ll be a key part of a fast growing, high performing team where you will have the opportunity to define your career in sales. Whether it’s moving up through the team or, moving out into the main sales team or other areas of Opus you identify an interest in.
Our SDRs are not scared of picking up the phone and building a solid pipeline of booked meetings with prospects who sit within our ideal customer profiles. They creatively use multi-touch outbound techniques to entice and attract prospects to Opus.
What you will do:
Collaborate with and learn from the other SDRs in the team as well as the Senior SDR Manager who has a wealth of experience to deelop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive booked meetings with prospects
Gain industry knowledge and endor training to research & develop accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and identify compelling events
Generate new business opportunities to fuel Opus’ pipeline
Prospect to companies ia cold calling, email sequences, social selling on LinkedIn.
Learn and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Opus’ core serices and vendor solutions
Understand Opus’ Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) who they are and how they buy
Manage, track, and report on all actiities and results using Microsoft Dynamic CRM
Exceed monthly/quarterly targets for Booked Meetings
Bring energy and ideas into how we can perform een better!
Who? are we looking for?
We are seeking a Sales Development Representative with/is:
A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role e.g., SDR, BDR, Telesales, or you might be a recruiter looking to shift industries, or already working in a lead generation agency.
Enjoys calling prospects on the phone and hae cold called previously
Keen to embrace new technology and sales tools
A desire to work in a sales focused enironment
Positie and energetic, excellent listening and communication skills
A curious nature and creatie mindset
A Team player familiar with a high-energy, fast-paced, and collaboratie working environment
Experience of utilising prospecting tools (e.g. SalesLoft or Outreach) and creating sequences
Experience of using LinkedIn Sales Naigator or social selling desirable
Some knowledge of the telecoms, IT, Mobile industry desirable
A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achieements
Passionate about technology, business, and winning
Experience with CRM platforms haing used one previously
