Providing administrative support to assist with the planning or delivery of a Programme / projects to deliver strategic objectives. Supports, facilitates, and monitors progress of projects. And following training, the administration of B12 / Pneumonia and shingles injections Wound care and dressings Chaperone duty when required. Stock ordering and management. Ensure fridges are cleaned and stocked routinely Use of clinical IT systems Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Removal of clinical waste and replacement of sharps bins as per guidelines. As a senior member of the team, your role will be wide-ranging and demand a broad set of skills. You will be part of our management group, helping to provide day-to-day support and strategic direction for the team, alongside the Principal Analysts and the Head of the Analysis Team. You will lead important projects, and project teams, using an Agile approach. You will negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and you will apply your technical expertise and public health knowledge to the development of quality-assured analytical products that meet our users needs. The following are the core responsibilities of the Patient Advisor. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: a. Maintain and monitor the practice appointment system. b. Process personal, telephone and e-requests for appointments. c. Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the callers request appropriately. d. Signpost patients to the correct service. e. Initiating contact with and responding to, requests from patients, team members and external agencies. f. Photocopy documentation as required. g. Input data into patients healthcare records as necessary. h. Direct requests for information, i.e., SAR, insurance/solicitors letters and DVLA forms to the administrative team. i. The Communications Officer is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of public health communications strategies and action plans. The role will provide and receive highly complex, sensitive information where cooperation and/or agreement is required; and deliver presentations; and influence and persuade committees and staff on the appropriate communications approach, and journalists on high profile issues; and make presentations on sensitive issues to staff and media.
