More detail about the role: The Logistics & Post Department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Logistics & Post Assistant in our busy department. Logistics duties will include receiving, unpacking and checking deliveries from suppliers. To order (to agreed stock levels), unpack and put away stock on wards/departments. These services are provided over the Wonford, Heavitree and Nightingale Exeter sites. Duties also include picking and packing items in our offsite warehouse. Post room duties include delivering and collecting post throughout the main Wonford Hospital site and franking outgoing post. Experience of working in an NHS Logistics/supplies/Post environment will be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided. PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The Logistics teams working hours are typically 08:00 - 16:00 (although on occasion these may be 07:00 15:00 or 07:30 15:30). Post duties are from 08:00 16:00 Monday to Friday.
