A service desk analyst acts as first-line support and therefore directly interacts with service users and aims to resolve their queries/requests at the first point of contact via telephone and electronic communication, in line with the agreed service level agreement. The post holder will log issues and incidents and identify when to escalate to second-line support or the Service Desk Manager. This customer facing role aims to achieve a satisfying outcome for service users and must therefore demonstrate empathy and have a technical awareness of a variety of digital tools, products and services. Key duties include: Provide IT technical support and request fulfilment to ICB staff, GP Practices and other organisations Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, by phone, email and any other relevant medium Provide customer care, by taking ownership of incidents and service requests through to a satisfactory conclusion Maintain the IT services SLA and KPIs Be responsible for all IT support related tasks assigned to the IT Service Desk function Maintain Service Desk availability and responsiveness ensuring the service is covered at all times

The Service Manager will lead on a number of clinical service areas across the Care Group. Hospice and in-patient palliative care unit duties will primarily be concerned with the day-to-day management of patients in the care of the service. The Specialty Registrar will be expected to attend multi-disciplinary meetings and assist in the supervision of Core Specialty Trainees and GP Registrars within the medical team. Patients receiving specialist palliative care in the community, in the Therapies and Rehabilitation Centre, and hospital outpatients will also be seen by Specialty Registrars under the appropriate supervision of the consultant. Outside working hours, at their base clinical unit, StRs on the South Yorkshire Programme for Higher Specialist Training Scheme will take part in an on-call rota. The role will require you to be able to: Manage and respond to customer enquiries to the NOE CPC Customer Support Desk, providing advice, guidance and an excellent customer experience. Provide a range of procurement support to the NOE CPC Category Teams and the Procurement Support Officers including administration of some tender activities, running further competitions for customers under supervision and supporting the launch of new frameworks. Support our Category Teams with the administration of supplier records, arranging supplier and other stakeholder meetings and taking minutes and actions as required. Be able to manage your own workload in a proactive and professional manner and be able to deliver consistently to agreed deadlines and standards. Be proficient in the use of excel to support Category Teams in some data analysis. About the role The role will include but not be limited to The delivery of onsite clinical sessions within a community-based environment this would cover general adult Dermatology clinics, Isotretinoin initiation clinics and minor surgery. Minimum one clinical session a month. Supporting GPs with extended roles (GPwER) in Dermatology. This will include teaching and appraisals, that can be done remotely. Participation in audit, research, and management of the elements of the service relevant to Dermatology. Come and join us and be supported to earn as you learn whilst undertaking a nationally recognised qualification. You will study aCustomer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship alongside your role within the Trust. It is ideal if this type of role is new to you, where you can learn and build new skills. You will need to haveminimum GCSE Grade 3/D or Functional Skills Level 1 or above in Maths and English.You will be enthusiastic, have a positive work ethic, be keen to learn and able to work in a team. You will receive support to gain a wide range of experience and skills, supervision and mentoring. This is a15 monthfixed term contract on the national apprenticeship wage which will commence at £12,514; after 12 months in post this will increase to the National Minimum Wage (depending upon your age). The Trust looks to provide its staff with support, training and progression opportunities; towards the end of your apprenticeship contract you will be supported by the Healthcare Careers Team to apply for permanent employment. We have a high percentage of previous apprentices who have successfully gained further employment within the Trust with opportunities to gain higher qualifications. There is no upper age limit on joining us as an apprentice. NB: Due to UK apprenticeship funding regulations applicants must have a right to work in the UK, or for EU citizens hold pre-settled or settled status and have been a UK or EU resident for the last three years or have indefinite leave to remain with documents that are not due to expire during the duration of the apprenticeship contract.
