What we’re looking for:

Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) 5+ years PQE, with proven experience in corporate and contract law, across a variety of contract types; Master, License, Supplier and Service-Level
Commercially strong and experience of working within software/technology and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements
Experience in strategic transactions and corporate dealmaking
Proven track record of leading and managing a legal team in a growing business
Sound understanding of Data Protection Laws and principles
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal issues to a variety of audiences
Client focused approach, utilising knowledge and experience, demonstrating outstanding levels of diplomacy and tact

You will be managing all aspects as facilities management, Health & Safety and sustainability from a facilities perspective, and be fundamental in designing and delivering facilities improvement projects. All the while collaborating with key stakeholders, suppliers and contractors. Managing the facilities team and overseeing Health & Safety will be paramount in your role to guarantee goals are achieved. What you will be doing:

Facilities management across the Microlise Group to ensure optimal operations, a great customer and employee experience, as well as compliance with statutory requirements
Design and implement facilities improvement projects, collaborating with key stakeholders and suppliers
Responsible for the management of all direct reports and ensuring high levels of service are continually delivered by the team
Ensure that contracted goods and services deliver to expected standards and service level agreements
Provide timely and accurate advice to the wider business relating to FM and HSE
Ensuring value for money and best in class service where possible, including our fleet management provider
Ensure accreditations for ISO 45001 and 14001 are consistently achieved and that statutory requirements are met for all areas of responsibility
Financial management of budgets within area of responsibility which will include creating cost benefit analysis and returns on investment
Ensure fleet management administration work is completed effectively
Monitor changes in legislation within health and safety and ensure changes are actioned
Provide timely, informative and accurate reports to senior leadership time when required
What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a facilities management leadership role
Strong people management skills
Demonstrable experience of managing buildings and facilities
Demonstrable experience of development and successful execution of facilities projects
Experience of managing a busy facilities, HS& and facilities environmental function, including compliance
Skilful at managing suppliers and third parties, ensuring contracted goods and services are delivered
Expert knowledge of current facilities compliance and best practice, including ESOS, SECR, appropriate ISO standards and management systems
Experience of fleet management administration
Budget management and financial analysis skills

Work Location:

What you will be doing:

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience working in a HR Advisory role; advising and working alongside a range of stakeholders at all levels
Currently pursuing an academic and/or professional HR qualification, such as level 5 CIPD, or evidenced work experience
Demonstrable experience supporting with employee relations and casework
Sound knowledge of employment law and best practice
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel

As our Information Data Architect, you will work on Domain Architecture within the Enterprise Architecture team working closely with the Data Engineering and other Software Engineering functions. Spearheading the architectural design and planning you will support the implementation of various data programmes and initiatives within the UK.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Platform and Architecture, collaborating with other architects to implement modern data and platform engineering practices. You will be designing a comprehensive Data Architectural Strategy that bridges the data and informational gaps between various teams. Your efforts will help increase business agility and competitiveness by enabling the delivery of high-quality software solutions faster and more reliably.

To achieve this, you will champion the adoption of an Agile approach to data and information delivery, streamlining data and information management for security, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and reliability. Additionally, you will foster an environment of shared ownership through enhanced collaboration and communication within engineering teams, driving modern best practice execution, and refining it for various forms of enhanced data process efficiencies in back-of-house systems.

What you’ll be doing:

Contribute to the design and implementation of a comprehensive data and information strategy for the organisation
Research and propose data tools and technologies to improve efficiency and data and information security within the context of GDPR, CISSP, NIST, ISO 27001, Zero Trust Architecture, Information Security, Identity and Access Management, locally and internationally
Develop, maintain, and oversee data principles, standards, policies, and procedures to ensure secure, high-quality data, and governance practices. This would need to include the full data lifecycle, including data integration, storage, transformation, and security throughout the enterprise
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure the technical infrastructure aligns with the data architecture roadmap
Champion information and data architecture across the organisation by providing guidance, training, and support to all stakeholders
Design data security and protection measures ensuring data is protected and support in the implementation of the designs
Stay updated on the latest data trends and best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the engineering teams
What we’re looking for:

Demonstrable experience within a similar role with a successful track record of implementing data practices
Possess strong knowledge of data tools, data management tools, and various data and information technologies. E.g. DAMA DMBOK, Microsoft SQL Server, Couchbase, Apache Druid, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, etc
In-depth understanding of modern data principles, methodologies, and tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across different teams and functions.
Passion for automation and continuous improvement, with a desire to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate technical teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Understanding of cloud-native computing concepts and experience working with hybrid or private cloud platforms is a plus.
Demonstrable technical experience working with a Microsoft, Redhat, and Apache data and software engineering environment.
A team-oriented individual with a passion for engineered excellence and the ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled engineers.
