You will own our Internal Communications strategy and take it to the next level. Looking for stories to highlight, experiences to share. You will be confident in engaging with all of our stakeholders to highlight the importance of Internal Comms but also, what they can do to support the effort to really engage with the business and employees. Your responsibilities will include:

• Support establishment and implementation of internal communication strategy to support business growth, working with HR team and Business Line Leads to drive employee engagement.
• Ensure group purpose, strategy initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
• Ensure internal communication messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisation.
• Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages.
• Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications channels including Intranet, Team Brief and All Employee Briefings.
• Storyboard or translate creative ideas into compelling communication campaigns.
• Manage campaigns, channels and messages, acting on feedback to continuously improve.
• Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form.
• Respond to feedback from employees and adjust communications content accordingly.
• Manage projects such all Senior Management Conferences and All Employee Briefings.
• Stay up to date with industry best practise to drive progress in our internal communications approach.
• Organise own workload and help to manage the effective functioning of Internal communications channels.

• Experience in a communications team, ideally with experience in B2B/B2G environment.
• Experience of writing for a variety of different audiences is also essential. General journalistic or marketing experience is beneficial.

This exciting new role of Internal Communications Specialist will design and deliver dynamic and compelling communications using digital and traditional communication channels which inform, engage and connect our employees.

Working for our Head of Internal Communications, responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the Marketing team to align plans and messages whilst building employee advocacy for Marshall
• Creating and maintaining the plans for delivery of communications, engagement activities and events
• Maintaining and updating our internal Intranet 'Beam' with newsletters, publications, events and videos, liaising with department stakeholders to ensure information us up to date and relevant
• Establishing strong working relationships with the stakeholders across various business units, proactively seeking their input and ensuring that communication and engagement efforts align with their strategic goals
• Supporting with employee listening groups, utilising feedback to make continuous improvements
• Working with various stakeholders across the business (including HR, Facilities, IT) to ensure departmental messages are curated in an easy and digestible way
• Playing an active role in the design and planning of large business events
• Managing the Internal Communications inbox and responding to ad hoc requests from all business units
