This growth oriented position will have the primary responsibility of providing the full range of fund administration services to private equity and real estates. This individual will be responsible for understanding and applying current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds and for reviewing transaction and valuation information.  A partial list of responsibilities and skills includes:

• Preparation and Review of Net Asset Value calculation and reportings
• Coordinate investor servicing activities. Including investor on-boarding, capital calls, distributions, and other investor reportings.
• Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation(s) and apply the terms to the financial reporting and the income and expense allocations
• Maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles and developing solutions for issues
• Preparation and review of financial statements and footnotes for audit purpose
• Liase with banks, auditors, brokers and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to clients and timely completion of deliverables
• Involved in new funds on-boarding process
• Primary contact to client on daily operational, issue discussion and any other request
• Resolve issues/queries raised clients in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
• Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase in operational efficiency

• Participate in company and client initiatives outside of normal deliverables and responsibilities

In the current asset servicing environment, clients are looking for service providers to not only provide core administration services but also act as trusted advisor and partners. This role will help coordinate deliverables across operations teams, help mitigate risk and communication strategy for incidents, participate in global projects to standardize and enhance our target operating model, implement client satisfaction monitoring and strengthen and develop relationships with our clients.

• Develop relationships with key decision makers and operations staff at our clients.
• Manage client relationships and act as escalation point for all client queries.

• Oversee and review client profitability and ownership of client account strategy to drive future growth.
• Manage client profitability through workforce planning with operations teams and adherence to common operating model.
• Explore cross-sale opportunities where applicable. Actively participate in RFPs or other business development opportunities as required.
• Ownership of commercial conversations with our clients. Initial point of contact for new product launches and services.
• Participate in global projects to improve client related initiatives or projects with the operational teams.

This is a vital role in ensuring MFS can calculate independent Net Asset Values of investment funds. A Fund of Funds Middle Office Operations (FOF MOO) Junior Associate Director will operate and oversee reconciliation and NAV review technology to deliver a full reconciled gross Net Asset Value to client operations teams or clients, including cash, positions and receivables.

An FOF MOO Junior Associate Director will have a strong understanding of what drives the value of an investment fund, the types of products it trades and the nature of day to day operations between an investment fund and its counterparties, all alongside a keen interest in learning new technologies and skills.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Business Development in Singapore, we are looking for someone to join the team in a leadership role to help support our business development activities in Singapore. Key Responsibilities include the following:

• Developing business with asset managers and asset owners across all aspects of asset servicing including fund administration, loan administration, custody, outsourcing, FX Overlay, banking & payments
• Working independently & owning the sales cycle from lead generation to closure of deals
• Create a prospect list and develop strategies to effectively engage those prospects
• Efficient use of Salesforce - log prospective clients, key influencers and logging of meeting notes
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and new products
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in Industry & Professional bodies
• Gather market insights and work closely with Product Development to ensure our offering is market leading.
