Our client, based near to Reading station, is seeking a Part Time Finance officer. The role will require you to work up to 28 hours a week, with some hybrid working and flexibility. The full-time equivalent salary is £28K.

The role will involve: bank reconciliations, daily receipt and payment posting, weekly update of cashflow forecast with actuals, intercompany account reconciliation and other ad hoc accountancy duties.

Our client is seeking a candidate with experience of the above duties, who has come from an accounting and / or bookkeeping background and has a good level of Excel.

Assist with budget monitoring and operating of Trust school accounting data
To deputise for the Financial Controller when required
Budget monitoring across all schools within the Trust ensuring the schools uses its funding wisely and continues to gain value for money (vfm)
Ensure the transactional accounts of the Trust are accurate and in a fit and proper state for the Director of Finance, Internal Scrutiny Process and year-end External Audit
Ensure the finance ledger is accurate on a daily basis during the academic year
Overseeing accurate processing of invoices by the transactional team, as directed by the Finance Controller
Prepare and distribute the departmental/cost centre/budget holders reports as frequently as requested by the Financial Controller and Director of Finance
Adhere to the Finance office month end deadlines and task list
Prepare VAT monthly returns in readiness for the authorisation by the Finance Controller
Carry out routine invoicing for school lettings and financial management of the Trusts Charge cards
To quarterly update the Fixed Asset register across all schools in the Trust to meet budget monitoring and the year-end requirements

Your new role
This is exciting opportunity to either pivot into cyber from a Network Engineer role, or it is a chance for an existing Security Engineer to focus on OT Security. You will be working for a global organisation, on one of their client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance, and patching of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for Microsoft Windows and UNIX based platform. The Junior OT Security Engineer will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures comply with internal and external standards and security requirements. Some of the key responsibilities for the role are below:

• Engineering of solutions for various project and operational needs.
• Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks.
• Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• Support daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media.

• Supported by Regional OT Cybersecurity Sensei (Regional OT CS Expert)
• Provide site support in the following areas
• OT Network and Cybersecurity Support (including cybersecurity risk guidance - "Archer")
• Assistance in adding/changing/modifying OT Systems (Servers, Devices, etc) - Moving/Adding/Changing/Deleting
• Guidance in provisioning, patching and upgrading systems (PLCs, Servers, OT Workstations)
• System Architecture Support (IP, segmentation, etc)
• Assist in maintaining site asset lists and network architecture diagrams
• Manage Claroty x-Dome implementation and ServiceNOW OT Assets

LIASE with Central Team to streamline workflows, shorten resolution time and simplify processes

What you\'ll need to succeed
You will need strong engineering experience, within a manufacturing, automotive, or production environment. You will also need the following:

• Ability to multitask and prioritise work across multiple projects providing effective solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Knowledge, and experience with ISA / IEC 62443.
• Knowledge of system security within an OT environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and UNIX based platforms.
• 1-2 years of experience in system administration/security/engineering.
• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. You will be representing a client, on their customers site. So good communication skills are necessary.

You will be working for a global organisation, initially on a contract basis, but with a possibility of turning into a permanent role, depending on the success of the project. You'll initially be looking at £400-£450 per day, with the possibility of gaining additional certificates whilst in role.
