We have an exciting opportunity for a tremendous individual to join Marsh’s world renowned Claims Solutions team in London. Claims Solutions is an exciting Marsh initiative that brings together specialists in the field of forensic accountancy, surveying, engineering, adjusting and claims advocacy.
What can you expect:
- Involved with the world’s largest major loss and complex claims team, applying High Level complex claims management skills to a wide range of client claim issues.
- Manage property claims across different industries across West UK.
- Work with the senior claims leader to agree on the strategy for each claim, based on client’s priorities and our expertise.
- Manage all stakeholders including client, internal colleagues, insurer and their team of loss adjusters, forensic accountants and specialists, and drive the pace of the claim.
- Where necessary seek advice from or introduce Business Interruption experts, to model clients finance losses which form part of the claim submissions.

We will rely on you to:
- Design the optimum claim strategy and then proactively manage property claims with a minimum value of £5000 by using your expert knowledge, to support the client through face-to-face meetings, advising on the cover offered by their policy, providing regular updates throughout the life of the claims and progressing the claim to the reach the optimum settlement for the insured.
- Anticipating and finding innovative solutions to any negative issues that could affect clients during the claim.
- Understand each client, their business as well spotting any opportunity to introduce additional business solutions with services offered across Marsh.
- Develop contacts with a range of Brokers and promote the suite of professional services provided by the Marsh to selected Insurance Brokers.
- Generate opportunities from such Brokers and to convert these opportunities into formal instructions from the insured client.
What you need to have:
- UK location having ready access to Reading / Oxford and west to Bristol and South Wales
- An insurance qualification (e.g. CII, CILA)
- A strong loss adjusting background ideally within the Commercial property insurance sector.
- A desire to pursue a career in major and complex claims representing policy holders.
- A track record of delivering excellent customer outcomes.
