Revenue Control Manager
Customers Finance are looking for a Revenue Control Manager to join the Financial Control team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. You'll support the revenue and debt (billed and unbilled) elements of our working capital. The OpportunityWorking closely with reporting, finance, and commercial teams, you'll contribute to strategic and operational decision-making, offering valuable insights and analysis to maximise the business’ opportunity for revenue and profits.
Along with your team, you’ll share responsibility for reporting on the debt (billed and unbilled) and advances element of working capital, both for monthly review and analysis and providing this to the regulatory bodies. You'll lead the charge in streamlining balance sheet reconciliation processes, ensuring they're not only simple but also enhance predictability in financial results. Your expertise will be crucial in driving efficiency, minimising errors, and boosting transparency through system leverage and process optimisation.
As Revenue Control Manager you'll set and deliver financial targets for debt levels and bad debt provisions, guiding stakeholders and the Finance Leadership Team. Your coordination of performance monitoring, forecasting, and budgeting for customer working capital balances will be instrumental in meeting these targets.
Accuracy is paramount, especially in unbilled revenue validation control. You'll ensure precise revenue recognition and oversee the adaptation of finance processes to new systems like the Kraken billing system, guaranteeing seamless reporting close processes with complete and accurate information.
As a member of the Management team, you'll not only drive content but also serve as a role model and leader. Your responsibilities extend to managing the Senior Analyst in your team, providing support, coaching, and performance reviews, while fostering their professional development through regular 1:1 discussions.
Who you are We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.), to bring not only knowledge but expertise to the role of Revenue Control Manager.
Proficiency in data analysis and clear communication of findings to senior stakeholders are key. Your ability to decipher complex data and present it effectively is paramount. You’ll be able to prioritise tasks and approach uncertainties pragmatically. We work in deadline driven environments, as such you’ll need to expertly manage your time and resources.
Experience in driving continuous improvement is fundamental. Your track record in designing, delivering, and embedding enhancements will set you apart.
You'll need to embody authentic leadership and bring enthusiasm to the table. By valuing others' perspectives and injecting fresh ideas, you'll steer discussions away from the status quo.
