IPAF Operator

We are looking for an IPAF Operator to start on one of our projects in the Reading area.

• You will be working on a commercial refurbishment, therefore we are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 years experience in operating with an IPAF ticket.
• You must ensure all lifts are being carried out following all the health and safety procedures implemented throughout the assignment.

To be successful the candidate must have:

• IPAF Ticket - 1B is a must.

One of our key clients are currently looking for an Estimator to join their rapidly expanding team based in Bracknell. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within commercial fit outs.

Job Description

• Carrying out all estimating company wide for both Maintenance and Projects division, ranging for £1k - £1million
• Analyse and evaluate project specifications and drawings
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost planning
• Monitor project progress and provide regular cost reports and valuations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions
• Carrying out site visits, surveys and take offs

Ideally/Must have

• Commercial construction knowledge with fit outs
• Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques
• Excellent analytic and numerical skills
