An exciting opportunity had arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to lead the ESNEFT medical Imaging department in obtaining accreditation for Quality standard in Imaging (QSI). You will be required to have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to foster excellent relationships with colleague and other departments.This post is fixed term / secondment until 30th August 2025.

QSI is available to imaging services across the UK both within and outside the NHS. Accreditation is the formal recognition that an imaging service provider has demonstrated that it has an organizational competence to deliver against key performance measures. These measure require the department to achieve high standard of service in relation to patient centred care and choice, safety, fit for-purpose facilities and clinical practices. The standards are endorsed by the Royal college of radiologists and the Society and College of Radiographers.

You will need to inspire the team around them and provide confidence that accreditation process is progressing. This is a cross site role covering both our Colchester & Ipswich Hospital locations and Community Diagnostic Centres where applicable.

Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only. This will need to be discussed with your current line manager.
• To manage and supervise the accreditation and quality processes in the Diagnostic Imaging services, carrying out the required management and leadership tasks to support the accreditation processes
• To maintain the service and liaise with UKAS with regards required annual submissions

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a key leadership role within the Medicine Division at Ipswich Hospital.

The Medicine Division at Ipswich Hospital is looking to appoint a clinical flow manager to support the team.

You will be responsible for all area of flow within the medicine and elderly wards and will work closely with the Medicine clinical and operational team.

You will review the red day tracker ensuring that all delays are minimised and any actions escalated to ensure timely discharge. You will attend all bed meetings as the medicine representative providing updates on plans and the actions to be taken to ensure we have enough medicine capacity to prevent delays in admission.

This role will provide a clinical presence out on the wards helping and supporting the teams with all aspects of flow and will require you to identify appropriate patients to outlie should the need arise and also to identify solutions to create speciality capacity when needed allowing the medicine matrons to focus on quality.

Working predominately Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm but there may be times where you are required to remain onsite later to support the development of plans to maintain flow throughout the night.

• Commission, write, edit, proof read, co-ordinate complex external publications, fundraising packs and other materials; assist with writing press releases and articles; oversee print and distribution.

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) are proud to be supporting the Networks across the East of England and are looking for a Network Business Support Manager to join us.

You will cover four diagnostic networks which are: Pathology, Imaging, Endoscopy and Physiological Sciences, each with a different geographical footprint. You will support the domain leads in developing and delivering the maturity matrix that are associated to each network. In this role you will also deputise for the programme manager when necessary.

The organisations within the networks are working together to enable effective collaboration between six Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and deliver a joint approach to support the implementation of the identified priorities for each network. They are breaking down barriers to deliver service improvements, reducing variation and sharing best practice. They are providing governance at a network level to oversee the design and delivery of the plans, undertaking a stock take of the assets across the system and mapping how services are currently delivered. This role will work with the Professional Leads and Speciality Leads.

This post is 37.5 hours per week to be worked across the working week Monday – Friday, some hours could be worked from home.
