The person we are seeking for is a passionate and experienced software engineer who can work with us to combine the cutting-edge techniques and bring the AutoCAD user experience to next level on Web. We expect the candidate to have deep knowledge of Cloud, be mindful of the impact to AutoCAD customers when developing the product and can work with cross functional and platform teams to deliver high quality product on schedule. 

Responsibilities

• Work as an integral member of a high-performance team making important individual contributions

• Estimate schedules for projects undertaken and complete them on time, adhering to pre-determined specification and quality standards

• Design and build advanced functionalities on Cloud platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to imagine, design and create new functionalities

• Improving application performance

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Unit-test code for robustness

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering with 5+ years working experience or equivalent MS with 3+ years working experience

• Strong programming skills with Javascript, OOA and OOD skills

• Experience of React, Redux and other Web front end technologies

• Comprehensive technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation

• Good analytical and design skills at product level

• Good communications and interpersonal skills

• Motivated, self-starter, creative thinker, ability to work alone or as part of a team

• Graphic background and WebGL/WebGPU knowledge is a plus

• Experience with CAD software, scripting or Auto LISP programming would be a big plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in application testing

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and product requirements into high quality code on the iOS platform 

• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to elaborate, design, and implement new features 

• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code 

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application 

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs 

• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization 

• Build efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems 

• Push the envelope on cutting edge mobile technologies and front-end engineering best practices 

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 

• 3+ years of professional software development experience 

• Working experience in iOS development

• A deep familiarity with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch

• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text

• Solid understanding of the iOS mobile app development life cycle

• Experience with developing cross-platform software components 

• Experience with Test Driven Development and continuous delivery 

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

• Receives defect reports from other sources (customers, product support, newsgroups, Applications Engineers) and confirms and tracks specific issues for use by development.

• Writes test cases based on real production work, and creates scripts for automation

Minimum Qualifications

Position Overview

Autodesk's Platform Services and Emerging Technology (PSET) team is hiring a Senior Software Developer with experience automating large-scale cloud infrastructure services. In this exciting role, you will help us automate a robust and scalable data platform used by numerous teams across the company. Reporting to our Software Engineering Manager for Platform Infrastructure, you'll help us tackle tough problems and improve our platform's reliability, resiliency, and scalability. Responsibilities

• Build and scale data infrastructure that powers batch and real-time data processing of billions of records daily

• Automate cloud infrastructure, services, and observability

• Help drive observability into the health of our data infrastructure and understanding of system behavior

• Guide initiatives to enable best practices across infrastructure, deployments, automation, and accessibility

• Develop and implement security best practices at the data, application, infrastructure and network layers

• Design and develop API-driven platforms with thorough documentation

• Interface with data engineers, data scientists, product managers and all data stakeholders to understand their needs and promote best practices

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in a large-scale cloud infrastructure environment

• Excellent coding skills and experience in Python, Unix shell scripting, OAuth and authentication experience for APIs

• Experience building code-driven infrastructure on AWS through end-to-end automation including integration tests and unit tests

• Experience with Self service platform offering by building APIs to deploy Cloud resources

• Demonstrated experience with EKS, EMR, S3, IAM, Networking and other AWS services

• Experience with observability tools (such as, Hive, Spark, Presto, Jenkins, CloudOS, Datadog)

• Experience communicating solutions and resolutions with technical and non-technical audiences

• Available for on-call rotation support

Responsabilités

• Construire et mettre à l’échelle une infrastructure de données qui alimente le traitement par lots et en temps réel de milliards d’enregistrements de données chaque jour

• Automatiser l’infrastructure, les services et l’observabilité infonuagiques

• Contribuer à l’observation de l’état de notre infrastructure de données et à la compréhension du comportement du système

• Orienter les initiatives pour mettre en place les meilleures pratiques en matière d’infrastructure, de déploiement, d’automatisation et d’accessibilité

• Développer et mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques de sécurité au niveau des données, des applications, de l’infrastructure et du réseau

• Concevoir et développer des plateformes basées sur des API avec une documentation complète

• Communiquer avec les ingénieurs des données, les scientifiques des données, les chefs de produits et toutes les parties prenantes aux données pour comprendre leurs besoins et promouvoir les meilleures pratiques

Exigences minimales

• Au moins 5 ans d’expérience pertinente dans un environnement d’infrastructure infonuagique à grande échelle

• Excellentes compétences en codage et expérience avec Python, les scripts shells Unix, OAuth et l’authentification pour les API

• Expérience dans la construction d’une infrastructure basée sur des codes dans AWS grâce à une automatisation de bout en bout, y compris dans les tests d’intégration et les tests unitaires

• Expérience avec l’offre de plateforme en libre-service grâce à la création d’API pour déployer des ressources infonuagiques

• Expérience démontrée avec les services EKS, EMR, S3, IAM, le réseautage et les autres services AWS

• Expérience avec les outils d’observabilité (tels que Hive, Spark, Presto, Jenkins, CloudOS, Datadog)
