About the Role
Working within a defined portfolio of Sainsbury's and other retail outlets, you'll be the first point of call for all their planned and reactive shutters and automatic gate maintenance tasks. You'll carry out servicing and repairs safely and to an agreed standard, achieving first time fix to a required Service Level.
You'll be able to effectively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems and provide effective solutions, escalating where necessary. If the job requires technical or specialist help, we'll call them in - you're not expected to be an expert, but we rely on you to let us know it this is needed. You'll also sponsor and complete S&G surveys and technical reports and ensure appropriate audits and checks (seasonal) are carried out in line with standards provided.
As you will be representing Arcus, it is essential you make a good impression and comply with the dress code and maintain your Company vehicle in good condition.
About You
You'll enjoy working autonomously in a pressurised environment and be able to prioritise a complex and demanding workload. You'll have excellent written and verbal communications skills, enabling you to communicate all operational issues and service updates within your region. You'll be customer service driven and enjoy working within a people focused environment.
You'll have significant experience ideally gained in retail environment, including :- Roller shutters, Roller grilles, Fire shutters, Sectional doors, Fire curtains, Hi Speed doors, Folding doors, Manual gates, Automatic gates, Dock Levellers, Dock Shelters.
To be successful, you will have:
- Full UK driving licence
- 17th or 18th Edition AMD3
- CSCS Cards
- IPAF & PASMA

You'll be provided with a Company van and all equipment needed to do your job.
This role involves being on call, reacting to emergencies as well as attending business critical works. The call out premium is incorporated into your basic salary. You will normally be on call 1 week in 4 from 17:00 on a Friday for one week.
